Man, every time I see Rivers throw the ball, it looks like he's laboring just to get it out.

Don't waste your time with team message boards. They're awful. This is the only forum I can tolerate bc we have intelligent fans here.
I can only imagine how bad it must be for some delusional fan bases like the Steelers and Cowboys message boards.

The AFC is so bad. My god. The Steelers are suddenly a SB contender.
Think about it. Baltimore is done now. New England has their flaws. Houston has Matt Schaub whom I don't trust at all in the playoffs. The AFC West gets the luxury of being 1 and done in the playoffs (maybe not if the AFC keeps being this terrible).
Who is left? The Steelers have Ben, a savy veteran defense that isn't what it used to be but does have experience. They can be in it til the end.

He wasn't coming to the NFC. Archie wasn't having it. It's why he forced Eli into the NFC on draft day. They don't want both of them in the same conference.
He should have went to the Chiefs.

I'd still take the Pats over them for sure, the Texans if Schaub steps up and the Broncos, cause I expect John Fox and Peyton to get that team to stop shooting themselves in the foot. But yeah, the steelers certainly have as good a shot as anybody to make it out of the AFC.

I still believe in the Houston. They had a hiccup. A big one, but I still think they are dominate.

Alex Smith would have had his feelings hurt. Can't have that.

I just don't believe in Schaub. It's a quarterback league. In a league of parity, it's often the qb battle that determines who advances in the playoffs. And Schaub will be the worst qb in the playoffs in the AFC.

The Chiefs have more total talent than the Broncos, but the Broncos just seem like they'd be a more comfortable fit for Peyton. Smart tall receivers, a pair of great pass rushers to go nuts with a lead to protect, a head coach and GM who'll stay out of his way on offense and focus on the defense and mistakes. If they stop shooting themselves in the foot to start games and Peyton keeps settling in, they'll start getting to play with the lead and look a lot better.

It may be because in a bit tipsy, but I'm experiencing a bad case of déjà vu with these two posts. In pretty sure I saw this identical post chain (different names of course) a few weeks ago during the replacement era.
