No one EVER said it was illegal. Everyone knows it's legal. People are upset at the manner he went about it. I may not have made it as far as you in baseball (congrats btw), but I made it far enough to learn that there is a line you can't cross when it comes to aggressiveness. You can still get the job done without threatening someones career.

You don't slide into someone's knee. End of story simple as that. You can slide through the bag and break up a double play.

I guess I said it wrong, I said it was within the rules. Baseball is one of those games that have a ton of unwritten rules as well. Rules that I do not feel he broke, I do not feel that he tried to hurt him. It is VERY obvious when a runner is trying to hurt a guy...I just dont see it there. Was it a little over agressive? Maybe...but I do not feel that it is something that needs to be blown out of proportion like this.
It's the post season, people are going hard, people are being aggressive...this is just an example of that.

Let Verlander finish it. The Yanks can't touch him.

Cards/Giants game will probably be delayed. It's supposed to rain pretty much all afternoon here in St. Louis.

Okay... Yankees shall be the second team to come back from 0-3 in the playoff history. Watch it.
If Sabathia can't shut out, it is the series. Pathetic.

I know Alex Rodriguez has played like ****, but he is getting far too much blame. Cano went 0-29 (an MLB record), Granderson is batting 0.103, and all you hear about is A-Rod getting some chicks phone number during the game.

A-Rod sucks all the time, though.

I wonder how many athletes, on average, get to **** Erin Andrews per sport. I'd be interested in knowing.

Though it came from Keith Olbermann, I can see the scenario where he would go to the Marlins with us eating most of his salary and taking back a Heath Bell or maybe even throwing in a young pitcher like Hughes or Nova or both and trying to get Josh Johnson. The Yanks are going to make wholesale changes this off-season.

That's pure speculation based on a joke between A-Rod and the Marlins owner, god knows how long ago.

I'm sure the Dodgers would eat all of ARod's salary. They seem OK with that type of deal.
