I think that left pretty much everyone upset. Mara is just one of the more respected mouthpieces for the owners. Him and Kraft are always at the forefront of things.

Are you just talking or do you have proof? Then how come nobody was upset with Tampa bay?

Nobody is upset at anyone except for Redskins fans.

So not much interest in the Seattle vs San Franciso game or is there. I think it shapes up as a defensive struggle with special teams probably being the differance.
Story lines are Harbaugh vs. Carroll (zero love lost there). The Niners defense getting after rookie Russell Wilson and Alex Smith facing his biggest challenge as far as division bragging rights go.

I'm expecting the 9ers to come out like a team possessed and control the game from start to finish.

I don't know. I think this one comes down to who can make a big play either offensively or defensively - be it a long pass, a breakaway run, strip sack, INT etc. I think Seattle can definitely win this one with a score of 16-13 or so

I'll be rooting for Seattle. Hoping the game is more impressive than ugly. Would love to see Lynch finding ways to grind it out against the 9ers defense and some moments of promise and control from Wilson. Curious to see hwo both quarterbacks can respond to the tough defenses, especially after Smith's Jekyll and Hyde performances that past two games.

These are the little nagging injuries that are going to end Ben Roethlisberger eventually. Getting beat up as often as he does and him taking it as part of his style of play is going to be the end of him.

I wish there was a way to split these threads up so conversation wasn't hard as balls to follow.

It just kind of ends up becoming the "NFL random discussion" thread. It's just the way it goes.

If people knew how to properly respond so threaded mode worked it'd be nice.

I must be one of the ignorant masses because I have no clue what you're talking about. But it sounds intriguing.

Beason and Gamble missed practice, likely out for Sunday. Hurney is another step closer to retaining his job because of injuries. Having a little bit of depth is just too much to ask from him.
If you have any Dallas offensive players you must start them.

I used to not care about the Dolphins, but now you have my boy Tannehill and I want him to be a monster.

I didn't know where to put this, but I love the argument.

I always loved the "Pete Carroll sucked in New England so he'll suck in Seattle" argument, usually comically made by Pats fans, who should know about coaches getting a second chance.

Carroll didn't even suck in New England. They made the playoffs two of the three years he was there and he finished above .500

Belichick also had the Browns going in the right directions so I hate how everyone says his stint in Cleveland wasn't good. The salary cap era had just started so it took a couple of years for him to get the guys he wanted.

So your'e telling me that Pete Carroll, who has made the playoffs in 3 out of his 6 years coaching in the NFL, built a national powerhouse and won multiple NCAA Championships, is in fact, a good football coach?
No way. He's a joke.

Sorry in advance guys. This game may be pretty boring tonight. I think both defenses are going to bring it.
