My school beat Penn State last night. I know theyre not exactly some great program right now, but it was probably the best campus event in all my years at the school. Also reminded me how fun hockey can be at any level.

How long has Penn State had hockey? They must have just added it. And who is your school?

Penn State just turned Division 1 after years playing club, thanks to funding from Sabres owner Terry Pegula. They'll be in the Big Ten when it comes into being next year.
My school is Buffalo State. Division III. Been a very exciting year for our sports teams.

Marcus Foligno and Cory Conacher tied for the early AHL scoring lead because you're better if I like you.

Even on tv, the place they played in looked like crap, so good for them.

The Barclays Center wasn't built for hockey. I heard there are horrible sight lines.
But yeah, they had to get out of the Nassau Coliseum. I've never been there but I know it's just an awful arena.

The blame isn't 100% his, but I know for a fact that if I was as bad at my job as Bettman is at his I would have been fired a long time ago. It's time for people to be held accountable.

I think I'm most annoyed at the thinly-veiled attempts by Bettman and the owners to try and manipulate fans and media into siding with them.

And what have the players done exactly so we should side with them?

I don't side with the players. I side with no one. I just think it's ******** that Bettman and the owners try to persuade us that they're less to blame for the lack of negotiation going on.

I think Ryan Miller got it right.
It is about egos and I don't think one side is less at fault than the others, but these things are always about PR in the long run.

I hope this lockout does irreparable damage to the league. To have two of these in eight years is atrocious.

I want to see some Bridgeport games. Nino, Nelson, Kabanov, Hamonic, Donovan, Cizikas. Decent group of guys, there. Mainly the first three that I want to see at that level.

i've only caught their games vs. worcester in which they've lost by a combined score of 10-3 so i don't really have too many good things to say about them haha. nelson got a goal in one of the games i think.

NHL informs NHLPA that they will foot the bill when it comes to the "Make Whole" provision. I think this is a gigantic step forward as the players have continually said that they just want their contracts honored.
