Romo doesn't suck. He's better than a lot of qbs in this league. He's top 10.

Your defense of Weeden since week 1 is valid. He and Luck actually have eerily similar numbers since week 1.
But what about Little?? He wasn't missing practice cause he was sick, the dude can't even catch a ******* ride!! :/

There are about 15 QBs I'd take over Romo right now. And none of them are on the Chiefs roster.

Romo is fringe top ten I'd say. Short-term memory from a lot of people. Let's see how the rest of the year turns out for him.

Romo was fringe top five coming into this season but he has been very disappointing so far. At least one interception in five straight games, six dating back to last year, is not good.

Romo was fringe top 5, Alex Smith top 10 and Shaun Hilll top 20...you don't actually understand what being top X means do you?

I don't ever remember seeing him fringe top five. He was consistently mentioned as like the 8/9/10th best QB prior to this season.

Last year what QBs were better than Romo? Rodgers, Brady, Brees and maybe Stafford? Maybe you could argue Eli as well, though he wasn't great in the regular season. That is fringe top five. I would really love to see your QB rankings for quarterbacks the last few seasons.

Eli wasn't great in the regular season? Have you just forgotten already or do you just not know what you're talking about?

Eli had a streak of eight straight games with an interception last year, during which his team went 3-5. Romo had a significantly better TD/INT ratio, QB rating and completion percentage. Romo attempted 70 less passes than Eli but threw two more touchdowns. Eli dominated in the playoffs last year, like he always seems to do now, and is probably the most clutch QB in the league but he was not better than Romo in the regular season last year. I am not sure if you are serious or not.

Try most game-winning drives in the regular season, and winning when the games matter most.

Was there ever anyone who thought Romo belonged in the tier reserved for Super Bowl champions? Brady, Brees, Manning, Manning, Rodgers are a pretty clear top five.

And yet the Giants finished with just one more win that the Cowboys in the regular season. Alex Smith was also tied with Eli for most fourth quarter comebacks in the regular season but he isn't a good QB.

And if Romo is right behind them, and Peyton didn't play last year, that doesn't make him fringe top five? He isn't on their tier, he is just outside of it. Or at least he was before he decided to be bad this season

Except Alex Smith did that with an elite defense and strong running game, Eli did it with the league's worst running game, a bottom ten defense and the league's most complex and vertical passing game.

Not when Big Ben still exists, Stafford was going apeshit and both Matt Ryan and Jay Cutler, before he got hurt, were matching Romo. Tony's a good QB and arguably top ten, but he's never been top 5.

Can we save the indirect comments geared towards making Alex Smith look better for the Alex Smith thread please? This is getting ridiculous.

In fact, can we just stop talking about quarterbacks period? Enough already.

I think there's an argument for Romo as high as seven along with guys like Vick, Stafford, Rivers, Flacco, etc. Ben Roethlisberger is probably six.

That I wouldn't have an issue with. I definitely put Romo in that tier after Ben with Cutler, Ryan and Stafford.

Cutler finished the season with a 58% completion, 86 QB rating and not even a 2 TD/INT ratio. He was not matching Romo. Ryan was pretty similar to Romo last year, though probably slightly worse, and Roethlisberger had a down season. So last year you had Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Stafford and maybe Eli and Ryan being better than Romo. With four QBs being definitely better than him, five if I give you Eli, and one being maybe better that seems like fringe top five. Why do people seem so upset over a couple of spots of disagreement whenever I rank quarterbacks?

Vick and Rivers? After 2010 I would have been all for that but we are talking about last year. I literally lol'd at Flacco. Less than 58% completion, 6.4 Y/A and a passer rating barely over 80.

That is not why I made the comment. I made it sarcastically to get the point of fourth quarter comebacks being that important across.
