Even if you did want to take this angle, it doesn't ruin the film. The trailer for this movie simply states the premise. Maybe you can guess how the film may end, but you can't guess the characterization of the three characters. The choices they make, the problems that arise, and ultimately how they decide to deal with those problems. Or the relationships they have with other people. A lot of what is seen in practically any trailer is out of context as well. Not to say that a story won't succumb to classic storytelling tropes, but at the same time showing certain scenes out of sequences doesn't necessarily mean anything significant. And knowing a premise of a movie before you watch it doesn't really mean anything is set in stone either.

When do Gonzo and APS start talking about how spectacularly amazingly amazing Seven Psychopaths is? I thought it was pretty damn good, but their In Bruges obsession amuses me so let's hear it.

It was indeed a very good movie, I'm just amused by the heaps of praise that is given to it sometimes. Asshat.

In Bruges is amazing. Ordered it on PPV way back when by complete accident and ******* loved it. One of my favorite movies for sure.

In Bruges is great. I did have a problem when Gleeson jumps from the tower but yet does not die on impact. My only problem with the movie.

There's a scene sort of like that in Seven Psychopaths...sort of...in a sense, Zak.

Well then I'll also love that movie but have a slight problem with it. Apparently I am a midgetcist also. I could have swore Peter Dinklage was the midget from In Bruges. I don't know why.

I just saw The Usual Suspects for the first time...holy ****. I even had the ending spoiled for me and it's still instantly in my top 10 movies of all time, at least.

Probably my favorite movie since Royal Tenenbaums, so you will give it its proper respect.

I know! There should be at least seven or eight.

I won't say I was blown away, but I did enjoy Skyfall. The last bit of the movie was particularly quite good.

Anyone else starting to get as giddy as a school girl with it being a couple weeks away until Lincoln comes out? I'm not really a history buff but god damn does it look good.

Yeah, I'm not the least bit inspired by it. Looking forward way more to Skyfall and so forth.

that's because you're a canadian. you'd probably be wetting your pants if the movie was about alexander mackenzie, though.

Lincoln could be really good if you focused on how batshit insane he was, but you know this is going to be a movie that focuses on how bad slavery is instead of being interesting.

Oh yeah, what I totally want is a completely boring depiction that was nothing like what actually happened. Sounds totally inspiring. I'd rather watch Tree of Life.
