**** it, if we are going to play like this we might as well call up D'Antoni. He would have some fun with this group of guys, no defense.

And Dwight and Pau would at least make it tough to score inside by default.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Lakers somehow pulled this one out.

The Bulls are still going to be a danger to the heat if Rose gets back 100%. They've got the defense, depth and size to bother miami and a healthy Rose gives them a finisher down the stretch.

I don't think the quality of the bench mob is going to be there at the end of the season. I look at it now, and it's worse than a year ago, and I'm sure everyone will improve and get used to playing with one another, but I really don't see it performing to the level of the 2010 or 2011 bench mobs.
And I would really rather not have Rose back this year, or forced into a spot where he has to over-exert himself. I'm already worried he's going to try and come back too soon...

No they won't. Nobody in the East can touch the Heat this season.

The bench lost a lot, but I like Jimmy Butler a lot, Belli is an adequate replacement for hot-sauce, Ratface can do better than Watson and even though he's no Asik, Nazzie can be solid.

So basically, they got worse at every bench position and Rose won't be fully healthy all season...but they can challenge the Heat if he's back? Alright then.

I didn't say it'd be this year, I said whenever Rose is back to full health. As for the bench, Taj is still improving, Butler can be a lot better than Brewer, Ratface is more talented than Watson and Bellineli-Korver is a wash. So Asik and chemistry are the big downgrades.

The one team that surpringly no one is talking about is the Brooklyn Nets. Watching NBAtv and ESPN panelists I hear them talking up the Pacers and Sixers as teams who might pose any threat in the East... and the Bulls when Rose returns... but I think the Nets can do some damage and aren't getting the attention they deserve yet.

Quite possibly the greatest sports story ive ever read.

"I asked [Jackson] if I could rap a little on his album, and he told me no, straight out," Tim Duncan told The San Antonio Express-News. "I was very offended. He's never even heard me rap. He doesn't know what I could do."

What is it with the spurs and making rap songs? Maybe that's how they stay young.

You guys are forgetting they were a game from elimination against the Pacers and the Celtics.
Them destroying the Thunder clouded your memory.
