blue moon is a better and more productive beer than all belgian-style beers.

I like the occasional Belgian but not too often.

I actually agree. I'm not a huge Belgian fan at all, but a draft Blue Moon with an orange garnish is refreshing as a mo fucka.

Had two of these when I was in AZ for a conference a few weeks ago. Now I need somebody from AZ to send me some b/c I can't find it anywhere online (or otherwise) for sale.

Where were you in AZ? Going down there for Christmas with my girlfriend and her family. Needless to say, I'll be on the lookout for something to drink.

Had a couple of these tonight plus a couple of Gorrilanauts. Both are local Huntsville IPAs. They are pretty good. If you like very hoppy, slightly bitter beers with decent ABV (7-8%), you'd like these.

nothing is worse than belgian-style. and blue moon tastes about the same: sickly sweet, with almost no hint whatsoever of being beer.

I was. This SanTan brew was good, though it's obviously a Fall/Halloween seasonal so you'll miss it.

See, I was just about to recommend staying away from Four Peaks. I tried two and both had a lousy linger to them. Aftertaste FTL. The waitress at the place where I had the Count Hopula (in Tempe, actually) agreed the Four Peaks brews were not quite right, too.
We'll let hobbes break the tie!

The Pale Ale was one, the other was the Kiltlifter. Both had the same aftertaste. Similar to Sam Adams, tbh.

I had the Kiltlifter first and chalked up the aftertaste to the fact that it's a scottish ale. The second attempt was the Pale Ale and I didn't even bother finishing it.

That Narwhal sounds delish. Check out the loot I picked up for tonight and tomorrow.

God bless Oregon.
