Our backs are going to have roughly 37 screens thrown their way in any given game, regardless of what the score is, so they're never a bad option.

Yeah, but then again, the Texans will probably beat us like 50-6. I would possibly roll the dice on Scott Chandler this week in you're desperate for a TE....we'll be behind and throwing and God knows Fitz can't get the ball to WRs or more than 20 yards down the field.

So do y'all expect anything big from Fred Jackson in a PPR league?

Fred has 13 catches in the past two weeks and is the healthiest he has been all year. If we're not running designed screens, we're probably throwing to them out of desperation because, as Rob said, Fitz can't hit a whole lot else. Maybe they have some other stuff drawn up for this week coming off the bye, but we're not exactly facing a defense that will let us execute.
I don't know who your other options are, but like I said, our backs are going to get catches in any situation. I wouldn't tag Fred for a big game, Spiller is much more likely to break something. But he'll get you points.

My other options are Leshoure and Jennings.
If Nelson can't go again I'll move Desean from the flex and I'll play all 3

So who would you go with in a PPR league
Fred Jackson or CJ Spiller.
I also have Antonio Brown vs. the Giants.
I am pretty torn.

Snaps will be split evenly. Spiller's improvement in pass pro has provided little reason to play one over the other in most situations. Spiller has more talent and I think you have to go with the gamebreaker, here.

It's actually 3 QB's, I've got Stafford and Flacco in the lineup as well. Flex needs to be one of CJ Spiller, Matt Hasslebeck or Jonathon Stewart.

Who would win in this deal.
Jamaal Charles for Doug Martin.

As of right now Doug Martin.
Charles only has one more 100 yard game than Martin.

Sproles broke his hand and is out. Adjust accordingly.
Quote:
|
Darren Sproles is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery to repair a fractured hand. Coach Joe Vitt was "vague" about Sproles' timetable for return, but this sounds like something that will cost him several games. Pierre Thomas should be the primary box-score beneficiary, seeing increased action in the passing game. Mark Ingram does not play a role similar to Sproles, and the impact on Ingram's usage remains to be seen. Fantasy owners need to hang onto Sproles until we get more info. The Saints plan to "reevaluate" him next week.

curious what is everyones league set up for tiebreakers? we are a ten team league split into two divisions. first tie breaker is currently points for and people are starting to argue that it should be div wins. league is pretty split even on it.

Bottom line is the team with the most points is the best team, I've never understood tiebreakers being anything different.

Yeah, it's gotta be points. Divisions are lame imo.

Well then why even have match ups at all? Why not just give the championship to the team with the most points?

I've though about it. H2H is more fun though. That said, the concept of divisions in a 10 or 12 team league is completely unnecessary.

I felt good going into the year with Foster, Murray, and Sproles, too. I have Alex Green behind them. Thank god my WR are Colston, Wayne, Harvin, Cobb, and Lloyd. Newton really needs to step it up for me.

Why does it have to be one extreme or the other? Head to head is more fun on a week to week basis but it's stupid to put that much weight on divisional record when the difference could be something as small as the timing of byes for your best players.

my team right now, almost got that lance moore and demarco murray for mcgahee trade but he accepted some other stupid trade just based on how many points the other players had before.
