If they pull this one off, they SHOULD be able to get by BC and Wake Forest pretty easily. At USC figures to be the game that decides their season.
And if they do go to the NC game against an Alabama, they'll get murdered.

I didn't realize BC and Wake Forest were two of their last three games, that changes things a bit. Ugh.
If there is a college football god he'll give us an Alabama/Oregon national championship.

They're gonna get killed in whatever BCS bowl game they're in anyway.

They handled Oklahoma pretty well, so I feel like they could compete with whoever comes out of the Big XII, ACC or Big East. Possible Big X too.
But they, like just about everyone else, will get murdered by an SEC team or someone like Oregon.

voters can't be that dumb after seeing this game, if ND wins, they gotta drop them to 4/5. Cause KState is gonna kill it and keep 2 ahah.

Oregon is the only one who would be able to score enough to maybe make it interesting.

I think Oregon would just get killed in the trenches by Alabama, disrupting everything they do.
That is where Alabama is just freakish. Every member of their o-line and d-line is probably NFL bound, many of them as high to mid draft picks.

Regardless unless Oregon screws up between now and the end of the season ND will be on the outside looking in. That game is going to give them no shot at taking over in the polls.
If they can't up their game considerably I don't see them having a chance against USC.

USC used to do the same thing. Get massive O and D line players and then dominate.

I agree, you saw it against Auburn and LSU in the years they played each other but they have the skill guys and a QB that wouldnt look like a pop warner guy out there against that defense. They about won the title game against Auburn and that was despite getting eaten alive by Fairley all night. LSU was just way too fast for em.

A&M has two future 1st round tackles and a really good defense that gets after the QB. Not to mention Johnny Football - it's going to be a close game next week.

Apparently his buyout is astronomical (to the tune of $20 million). I think Iowa would be better off trying to secretly assassinate him.
