Conclusion: Cardinals are clearly hiding Ryan Williams from the rest of the league, knowing he's going to blow up this year.
There's just no other reasonable explanation for his performance and lack of carries. Team is simply trying to keep it a secret before too much film gets put out there.
There's no way he doesn't win the starting job over Beanie Wells. Every single run this pre-season, he's looked absolutely phenomenal, dare I say he could be a pro bowl talent this year if he gets the carries and stays healthy. *knock on wood, no jinx*
And yet, despite a blatantly obvious freakish amount of talent, only 3 carries tonight despite no injury... hmm... AND he needs reps... Seems fishy... This team clearly already knows how good this kid is. No other explanation.
100% convinced this team is trying to sneak attack the Hawks week 1 by not putting any film of him out there. Kid is the real deal, I'm reaching for this kid in the latter rounds of my fantasy draft and riding him to sure glory.

I think it's some parts that, some parts not wanting to risk injury and some parts wanting to get Beanie carries
But they know exactly what they have in him and I think he will be a stud

I liked the way that Powell kid was running last night for you guys. He ran hard, showed good explosion and speed.

I expect he will make the team as the 4th RB

Fenikz, I don't know if it was you or someone else I was going back and forth with Barret Jones about...It's hard to gauge the QBs you guys have since the O-Line was not doing them any favors. I think Jones could be plugged in anywhere - He has the ability to play both tackle positions. He was bumped to center because a need was there. He also has experience at guard. I just think he is one of the best/most versatile linemen to come out in a long time. A great value player.
That said the QB situation is not promising. I just don't think you guys will be a terrible team though - you have a pretty good defense and what I think will be a strong running game with a lot of depth. I do not think the Cards will be in position to draft Barkley but Tyler Wilson may be a viable option. I did like watching Lindley spin the ball though, he is a big strong armed QB - it will be interesting to see if they try to develop him.

Once again, I stand by my statement that your Cardinals are clearly trying to sneak attack the Hawks week 1 by not putting any film of Ryan Williams out there.
He sat out the entire last pre-season game as if he was a starter... Only got 3 carries in his second to last game... That leads me to one of two conclusions:
1) He was so good in camp and during his few carries this pre-season, that he's being treated like a full blown starter that that MUST stay healthy at all costs. This seems like the most realistic option. Ironically, Beanie Wells is getting 90% of the carries, and he's the supposed "starter." Weird that you'd expose your true starter to that much bruising.
2) They're worried about him getting hurt. This is not the path theyare taking with Beanie, is it? Both players "need reps," ostensibly, Williams needs them less.
Picked this kid up last round of my fantasy league. Ready to win it.

Welp, Beanie is going to have his carries severely reduced/ completely negated by this injury he just picked up... Clear the way for my man. best of luck to you guys vs. seattle.

How do you guys think the Cardinals are going to try and cover Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez?

Most likely won't be able to, I think PP will most likely be 1 on 1 with Lloyd the whole game and we will try to pressure Brady constantly, obviously this will just leave a lot of stuff open underneath for Welker and Gronk so it will most likely be a 35-10 game

I predict Kevin Kolb throws for 6 TDs and wins it for the cards.

Lots of coverage and some blitzes, maybe some one on one with Hernandez

Ya losing Hernandez early really set things up for the Cardinals defensively, PP was very effective in 1 on 1 coverage with Lloyd and besides the last drive Washington and Rhodes had Gronko under control.
Was a good game that both teams seemed to keep trying to lose

i'll be shocked if they win more than 2 games the rest of the season. just so many bad parts to this team. worst o-line, bottom 3 qbs, bottom 3 rbs. not going anywhere with that. if it wasn't for the defense and some luck to start the season, they would be 1-7 right now.

ya basically at the point where I want to lose out, possibly get some looks at Lindley later on and keep getting Floyd and Housler involved in the passing game
