Yeah, I agree. His perimeter shot needs to improve, a lot. I'm just a Johnnies homer.

How did the Kings have only 13 assists in the entire game Monday night? How did they go an entire 4th quarter without an assist? And how the heck did they win?

Yeah. I can't stand it. Even IT who did a fairly good job as a distributor last year is only playing isoball this year. The Kings played about 50% of the preseason using very good ball movement. So far in 4 games, they haven't had a single quarter with that good ball movement.
I'm not going to lie, I like the defense they seem to be playing right now--meaning they are actually trying on defense, but this isoball is going to drive me loco.

I don't understand why the Magic traded Anderson for Ayon. Anderson is so much better.

The problem is that the Magic didn't trade Anderson during the season before the trade deadline. That's when they could've gotten more for him. But Dwight was still healthy at the time and the Magic were still focused on making a push in the playoffs because keeping Dwight around was still the #1 priority.
When the season ended Anderson was a RFA. The Magic were intent on trying to keep Dwight till the bitter end. Keeping future cap space in tact was a critical part of trying to keep Dwight. So they were set on letting Anderson find a new team in FA and working a trade with that team. Anderson definitely wasn't gonna wait around for the Dwight situation to settle before he went shopping around his services. So he brokered a deal with New Orleans. But in order to get the Magic to not match the contract, the Hornets agreed to send Ayon. The Magic also got a TPE.
So it wasn't a trade to get equal value back. They were gonna let Anderson go anyway.

I'm actually really happy with how the defense is looking. They're actually moving around on the perimeter, getting into passing lanes and just being overall disruptive. They caught them a few times sleeping on rotations (Thompson, especially), but they've looked solid.
As for the offense, i guess that's the kind of problem you run into when guys look to drive to the hoop. We aren't necessarily a good shooting team, and IT isn't Steve Nash. That doesn't bode well for assists. Brooks has been getting a lot of playing time late in the games and he's pretty much looking for his shot first, and second. It's whatever, i'm just tired of seeing these weird ass rotations. Keith Smart needs to pick the guys that are gonna play and give them some stability. Travis Outlaw needs to go sit at the back of the bench with Tyler Honeycutt. He should never see the floor.

As much as I don't miss Beasley's play, I'm going to miss his personality. He always seemed like a fun dude.

That's cause he was blazed 100% of the time. I bet he's dying to get traded to the Nuggets now.

Either that or petitioning the league to give Seattle a team again.

Rockets finally back on the court tonight after what seems like a month off. Tough test in the Nuggets, I think it'll be a close game since its in Houston. Not sure they can pull off the win though.

How did I not see this? Apparently from this summer. I love James Harden.

I need to know who the one is with the long black hair on the right, and I'm extremely jealous of the way this night ended :(
