His yards per attempt is still above low level schmucks like Brady, and Eli.

Which is basically a fact that he is in the upper end of superior QBs in this league. I'm with you Caddy!

YPA that is just throws, not actual completions right?
YPC in air would be interesting.

YPA is determined by dividing the yardage thrown, by the actual attempts, and not the actual completions yes.

Last time I checked, he also leads the league in quarterback rating for passes of 20 yards or more. If I recall correctly, his rating in that category was 134.1 prior to the Oakland game.

And everyone gave up on Freeman's ass last year. Well folks around here have certainly changed their tune.

Actually, he's been really good for most of this season, but I can see how a Chiefs fan would have trouble identifying anything other than "suck" at the quarterback position given how long it's been since your team has had anything resembling competence there.

Trent Green was a really good one for them - thats fairly recent. But yea Freeman is an avg QB. Good QBs perform consistently and he has yet to do that. Let's see where he is at the end of the season.

Oh, I see, your entire argument boils down to "Matt Cassel sucks!" eh? Good one. Guess what? Josh Freeman is still mediocre. At best. He has never been better than that, even in his 2010 MVP season.
Yeah, Matt Cassel sucks. But so does Josh Freeman. And you're nothing but a blind homer.
Come at me.

Man, what a few weeks of playing some crappy defenses can do to a QBs stock, huh? I guess the Chiefs, Vikings, Saints, and Raiders count as some amazing defenses. Watch out for Josh Freeman y'all. If he isn't already in the MVP talk this season I'd be downright shocked.

Freeman to me is playing at a decent level this season. I rewatched the game against the Raiders this past weekend. I can see why he's floating around 55% in terms of completing his passes. Doesn't always the throw the most accurate ball, but some of his throws are pretty good. And his last four games have been great.
Wouldn't call him average or mediocre. Not great, but good. Average to me would be how Sam Bradford, Matt Hasselbeck, or Michael Vick has played this year. Freeman just doesn't have the "consistent" reputation yet because he hasn't played as long, but he's still a young dude. Seems like he's getting it together. Buccaneers fans should feel good about their quarterback situation right now. Tampa Bay doesn't play many legitimate defenses down the stretch, so he might not be tested by a dominant force this year unless the Buccaneers make the playoffs.

A.J. Green has apparently upset Antrel Rolle by going on radio and saying there is a lot holes in the Giants Defense.

That will be a slobber knocker, but I'm definitely more looking forward to tonight's game. Blaine Gabbert in prime time. No MJD. No healthy DBs for the Jags. The Jags have been outscored 123-39 at home. I can't see any way this game isn't an all-time classic.

Last two times I got overly confident about a Steeler game, they lost both of them to Oakland and the Titans. KC has played Pittsburgh tough the past few matchups. I think KC at least covers the spread.

I've been driving the Colts bandwagon since the summer but I think the Jags win tonight.
They've been outmatched the past four weeks with the only winnable game in Oakland and they almost won. They're definitely battered and embarrassed the owner called them out.
This week is a great opportunity. I expect them to put up some points, maybe Jennings has a big day, and slow down Luck. Their secondary is actually not terrible and they've had to deal with Rodgers and a sharp Stafford the past two weeks.

I dunno man. The Chiefs are historically bad right now, and we just released our second best corner. If Mike Wallace doesn't have 200 yards receiving I'll be surprised.
