Don't see him doing that. It would be two more years to screw something up. Go to the combine, if they'll have you, say the right things and perform well and you'll get a chance at the next level.

Like the Bobby Lane handle, Highland Park High? or was that Doak Walker.

He'll still be drafted.

And Leach deserved to lose his job at TTech if he hasn't learned anything from it. It's more than just a "football coach being a jerk." Nick Saban is a jerk; Leach is a sociopath.
Washington State is investigating. I honestly think the guy may have a valid excuse if it was abusive, but I guarantee you he will get labeled as a soft prima dona for coming out and saying this.

If Leach really is abusing his players, that's sad - but I have my doubts about that.

The interviews will probably make or break a lot of his stock. Some teams proably have already burned his name, but most will want to talk to him and see him up close.

I wonder how NFL teams view Leach. Maybe he really is the asshole that he is being called in this letter.

They both did. So did Matthew Stafford.

If he has the talent he'll get drafted on day 2. Prospects have done much worse and still got selected round 3 or higher. If his measurables are there I don't see why this would cause him to not get selected early. Draft suicide would be if he ran 4.60 or higher along with this though =)

Quitting is death in professional sports. Quitting and being a rat. Either one gets you barred for life, basically.

Yeah him leaving the team is one thing, but then taking the time and effort to bash everything about the Leach's style just foreshadows that Wilson will probably not make it in the NFL....

He sounds like he quit when the going got tough and players were forced to work harder for it. I would not want an lazy quitter on my team.

Oh wait, Mark Dominik did. :) .

As for Wilson, have no idea, but Mike Leach seems like a dousche. However, bad character in Wilsons case.
It's been a while but everything I read on Mike Williams back when we drafted him was that he quit the team because he was going to get suspended. Kind of hard to believe the team would dismiss him purely because of his grades, he was one of the best WRs in college football at the time and only a jr.
