Buffalo might choke this. They dominated 3 quarters. But the 4th quarter hasn't been their friend lately.

99 yards to go for Tannehill. This is where legendarily terrible defenses are made.

Ball game. Oh well. If this god damn defense could catch a ball every now and then and if Ireland would give Tannehill some god damn WR's this game could be alot different.

I'm pretty sure you're the guy I was referring to earlier so.....you suck.
That's enough patting the ball, Tannehill. That bothers more than anything else about him.

Gtfo then!
Also **** the refs for throwing the OPI on Hartline there. Dolphins got every ******* ticky tack call called on us while the Bills tackled Wake regularly.

Cause its the Dolphins. Just the way it works. Sucks, but the truth. Seems like alotta times a player/team will have a career day against them. You should be use to it by now.

He did push off, yea, but that doesn't get called often. That was annoying. We played like **** today though. Offense and Tannehill have gotten progressively worse each week it seems. Tannehill starting to look like most projected he would if he started early due to his lack of experience. I'm still hopeful for the future but the rest of this season is gonna be tough after the early season success and the fact that we've been (aside from the Tennessee game) consistently in the games. That being said, our schedule does get much tougher from here on out.

By future I meant long-term (next season and beyond), not the rest of the season. I just said the schedule gets much tougher. Seattle sucks on the road so that game is still winnable but conservatively/realistically, we probably have two wins left when Jax and Buf come to town in weeks 15 and 16. That puts us at 6-10, which is what I was predicting/expecting us to finish at.
I think we can safely remove Reggie Bush from our long FA list as someone we need to bring back. DT + Lamar Miller = the future.

So what is the future looking like for Ryan Fitzpatrick? They paid him a lot of money and he didn't deliver. His numbers don't look that bad, but I'm guessing those the majority of those are a facade and suffers from not making the big time throws in the big time moments in the big time games a la Aaron Brooks. The organization has a lot invested in him, but I'm thinking...who in the world are they going to be targeting in the future if they let him go? A rookie? Another veteran? Surely Fitzpatrick will get a good chance at some starting gig somewhere with some lowly team. Or rather, he'll get a good chance to compete somewhere. I bet Arizona would take their chances with him instead of who they have there now.

I'm not sure any team would be wise to pick up Fitzpatrick to be their starter. If there is one thing you don't want your QB to be it is inconsistent. Every QB is entitled to have the odd bad game. Every QB has the odd bad game. However it is so important that the good outweighs the bad. With Rodgers, Brady, Manning, Brees etc you can go into a game confident they are going to play well. If they don't then they simply had a bad game. With Fitz you simply don't know. The unknown is an NFL coach's worst nightmare. And it's not just bad games. Fitz can play lights out for the majority of a game and then have one bad play that kills the team. Last week he was pretty good, albeit against a horrible Pats defense, got the team in a position to win the game, drives the length of the field and just makes a horrible read/throw. He did it as well in the first Pats game. Had them up in the first half and then turns it over 4 times.
If you have a bad QB then you can gameplan around it. Give him safe throws and hand the ball off a lot. When you have a QB who can be very good but is wildly inconsistent then you're kinda screwed. You know he can make the plays but can you trust him?

Right, but if you're a team like Arizona or Kansas City, you'd gladly take the hot/cold hand over the just always ice cold hand via Kolb/Skelton. Not saying that Fitz deserves the money he got paid, we've definitely seen worse.

To be honest if I were either team I would much prefer to gamble on a prospect through the draft. Hell, if I were Arizona I would give Skelton more time just to see if he can turn into something. Fitz isn't the answer, he won't win you a Superbowl and that for every team is the end goal. What Fitz may do is give you a few extra wins which just limits your ability to get a stud in the draft at the position.
Ask any Chiefs fan. Give them the option of Smith, Barkley, Wilson etc or Ryan Fitzpatrick and I would be willing to bet that at least 95% would go with the draft prospect.
It's not a shot at Fitz either. When he's hot the guy can play at a high level. However you simply can't build a franchise around him.

I look at Fitzpatrick the way I look at Matt Schaub. If Schaub were on a rebuilding team he would be terrible. But with the Texans strong running game, good OL, and excellent defense, he does just fine. I would've thrown Andre Johnson in there at one time but his career is in a valley right now.

Matt Schaub is NOWHERE near Fitzy. Not even remotely close.

What happened to Andre Johnson? I'm assuming his injuries just killed his ability to produce.

Yeah I think so. He has had multiple hamstring injuries which, if nothing else decreases your confidence to go flat out when sprinting.
Another thing to mention is he is 31. Sure we see guys like Reggie Wayne producing well now, however all guys are different. Maybe it's just his natural decline

Schaub has been on the rebuilding Texans for quite some time. Before Houston got a defense and didn't always have a great running game. He wasn't terrible.
