NFLN Top 10 Rivalries
10. 49ers-Cowboys
9. Eagles-Cowboys
8. Patriots-Colts
7. Bears-Packers
6. Ravens-Steelers
5. Cowboys-Steelers
4. Browns-Bengals
3. Jets-Patriots
2. Steelers-Raiders
1. Eagles-Giants
It would probably be hard to make a worse list. Half of these aren't even relevant anymore...

Chiefs / Raiders is a great rivalry even though both teams blow.

Is Steelers-Cowboys really still relevant? Honest question.

Rivalry lists are tough because the best rivalries are almost all over a period of time where both teams were great. Bears/Packers, Eagles/Giants, Chiefs/Raiders, etc have the history but even at their peak, they were neverintense as Steelers/Raiders in the 70's, Cowboys/49ers in the 90's or Steelers/Ravens today even if those don't have the same history or aren't relevant today.

Well, the intensity of rivalries are going to change throughout time. So I think we need to have a historical perspective in mind. I'm guessing this list is accounting for the biggest rivalries in the history of the NFL and when they were at their peak, and ranking them in that fashion.

Surprised that the Giants/49ers rivalry wasn't on there. Those were some intense games in the 80s and early 90s.

As intense as that rivalry was, they met like once in the playoffs in all these years.
That kind of killed it for me. It's the oldest rivalry for sure, but it's not the best in my eyes.

Yes, that should have been on there.

Should have been top 5 probably.
Current rivalries I enjoy are Steelers/Ravens, Pats/Colts from the past 10 years.
Cowboys/49ers, Steelers/Cowboys, Steelers/Raiders, Giants/49ers and Colts/Patriots are probably the most relevant rivalries of the past 50 years.

think it's more like this:
1. Bears/Packers
2. Giants/ Eagles
3. Ravens/ Steelers
4. Cowboys/ Redskins
5. Pats/Buffalo
6. Raiders/ Denver
7. Giants/ cowboys
8. Jets/ miami
9. Bears/ Detroit
10. Giants/ redskins
I base it on long term hatred and current battles. Nothing tops the Bears Packers hatred for each other. The next 3 are about equal with the rest lagging behind. Patriots/Jets isn't as big of a rivalry as Rex Ryan wants it to be.

Browns-Bengals is always a close game no matter how good or bad the teams are.

Our hate for the Chiefs has been diluted by pity...
In a similar vein, the success of the Chargers and some of their personalities have made them very easy to hate. They seem to be the "modern" rivals of the Broncos.
If we go into history, though, the Raiders are definitely the Broncos' worst enemies.
