That's because he regressed over the offseason. He was playing very well at the end of last season, then came out and crapped his pants against Tennessee and took a couple more games to get going again.

yfs is also correct that he's a much better player in the shotgun hurry up and that the coaching staff has started to use that more and more throughout the season

Glennon has some mechanical issues - low release point and doesn't have a real quick release. He's inconsistenct throwing on the run and lacks athleticism.

That being said - I love him as a prospect and think he's the best overall QB in this class and a top 10 talent.

But the guy has a cannon and can make all of the throws. He can put the ball in tough spots on the field and can laser the ball in there. He can step up in the pocket and isn't afraid to take a hit. Seems to have a good command on his offense. He's reportedly very smart (already graduated), a team captain and a good guy in the community.

He hasn't played with the best recievers, offensive line or running game so all of that should factor in his numbers. He's asked to throw the ball down the field a lot - something you won't see as much from other QB prospects. The offense is same one ran by Russell Wilson in his three year's before playing at Wisconsin and Mike's put up very similar numbers to Russell. It's not a high completition %, stat-friendly offense like you see other places.

I expect Mike to really, really pick up steam during the Senior Bowl and combine (although the 40 could be rough). Guy has a ton of talent to work with.

Showed really good pocket presence v Miami except for that one weak side blitz. Really impressed by that for such a big man with bad foot speed.

He's definitely a 1st Rounder. I think he maxes out as a 10-20 pick for somebody. Bills GM Buddy Nix has been scouting him and he feels like a Nix type pick.

Great size, huge arm, Pro system, a couple years of tape. Last time a NCST QB was taken in the 1st Round, Nix was apart of that staff in San Diego.
