if Lewan or Joeckel fall to the saints i can see them being the pick but I dont see them picking a guy that is probably only gonna be a RT. With that board id prolly go richardson

Matthews can be a LT in the NFL. This situation is very reminiscent of the USC situation with Tyron Smith and Matt Kalil. I will bet right now that Matthews becomes a better LT than Lewan.
Nice Pats pick

Our system values OG's so much more than OT's so I'd have to say no to the selection as well.

You should repost this with a Suh trade to the Raiders for the #8 pick

Matthews has nowhere near the quickness and lateral agility of Lewan. Tyron Smith always had the feet and body type of a LT, Matthews just doesnt

Interesting Patriots pick. I like Ansah's size, length, and versatility, but he didn't look very polished or disciplined on tape. Patriots plays have to two-gap, and while Ansah has the frame to do that, it looks like he isn't very responsible in that regard. I could see them being interested in him if they think it's something that can be coached, though.

Completely disagree with both sentences there.
I have Matthews rated as my 2nd OT in the draft. I think Matthews will be a very good LT in the NFL
