As for the NFC East being in primetime this much, I do agree it's old hat. You're smart enough to know why it continues to happen though.

i just hope the dallas/philly game draws like, a 0.6 rating and everyone gives up on this notion that anyone cares about bad teams. because THAT will be a horrific game.

Suh got fined $30,000 for his kick to Schaub's nuts. By fining him, the NFL is admitting he did something wrong. If that is the case, considering his history of personal fouls and stepping on the player last Thanksgiving, he really should have been suspended. The NFL is really sending a mixed message.

I mean thats the way its been for awhile now, and why alot of fans and players are frustrated. There is no clear outline for the severity of crimes committed or for the penalties handed down for said rule breakers.

Idk how that was construed as malicious on the part of Suh. If some other player did that exact same thing I doubt we would've even heard much about it aside from the obligatory "Lulz, Schaub got kicked in the nuts!!11."
Schaub's response was equally ridiculous.

I may not agree with the decision but I am glad that this QB controversy is behind us. Unless Kaepernick plays awful for more than one game, Alex Smith is gone after this year and we have one of the most physically talented young quarterbacks in the league backed by a stacked roster. I don't like our chances this year with Kaepernick but we will be perennial Super Bowl contenders going forward if Kaepernick can play up to half of his potential.

No real reason to go back now. Kaep just gives you more. Sure he is bound to have a young players game eventually, but he can give you 2-3 more splash plays a game over Smith. I didn't think they would keep Smith this off season anyways.
