I am OK with the Napoli signing. He will move between catcher and first like he did with Texas I'm sure, I think Salty is as good as gone now. Lavarnway and Napoli can both play catcher and first so my guess is try to use that platoon going forward and try to get something for Salty. I like Salty too he just looks to be the odd man out. Powerful dude and pretty good catcher just maddeningly streaky.

One thing is for sure, he'll hit about .400 whenever the Sox play the Halos this year. I think half of his season total stats were accumulated against the Halos

He has typically killed it at the Fens so hopefully that carries over.

It will be interesting if they just put Lavarnway at AAA for the season and carry 3 catchers try to trade Salty.

Price's contract extension stalls. Nationals like James Shield. Still, it is crazy.

back/hip issues, but it's only a 1yr deal so little risk. Rotation looks great on paper

He got 4 years though. $10m/y vs. $13m/y. And Pagan got it coming off one of his better years where Victorino got his coming off of one of his worst. They're both 4th OFs, though.
