If it's any consolation, I can still win with the Jets in Madden.

Hindsight being 20/20, would have been awesome if the Jets had drafted Bryce Brown instead of Ganaway.

LOL.. One small problem is Tannenbaum would release him.
If NFL franchise continues having the college head coach fad then which one would be better fit for Jets. Hypothetically.
Bo Pelini- He may be remind me of Rex Ryan. Whatever he did something wrong or harsh, he would address to media about he should be dialing down a little bit. Not a good choice.
Brian Kelly- His nitpicking will create a mutiny in NFL. There are already few players publicly shared sob crap about Tebow, Sanchez and Holmes. No chance.
Will Muschamp- He should be my perfect choice but He is about to complete 2nd season on a resume as head coach. Too green.
Chip Kelly- He responded to early under pressure very well but it kind of took time to succeed.
Anyone else?

Haha that's a good point Yoto. Hypothetically I'm a Chip Kelly guy, I like the offense they run and I think football's going to move that way.
Interesting they're just trying guys for the future now. Lots of Hill, some Cumberland mixed in, Powell playing a lot more than Greene. Think they're trying to see if Powell is a starting caliber guy for next year because they've decided Greene isn't coming back.

I just can't believe that Sanchez barely outperforms Lindley. lol.
Hill finally uses hands. I hope he keeps doing that way.
Powell offers a good job at picking up blitz and blocking. Nice.

Interesting! Cardinals are afraid of McElroy more than Sanchez it seems. there are more open holes with McElroy under center than Sanchez.

So I don't think McElroy is the answer by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm very curious to see who starts the rest of the season now. Could be more interesting than I was expecting.

Lots of humor value in that game if you weren't taking it too seriously (I certainly wasn't so got some laughs).

Same here. McElroy played simple pass offense with solid running game. I don't see any complex in his game to warrant him a first start debut right now. Since Jets are not out of playoff contention yet, I can see Sanchez start game and McElroy will step in if Sanchez is being ineffective. Once Jets are out of playoff picture, I may see McElroy plays more time for an evaluation.

What a joke the rest of the schedule is. Are you guys ready for McElroy to go 3-1 and people to say he's the mcfranchise and other nonsense? At this point I'm rooting for the jets to lose so we can fire Tannenbaum and get better draft picks.

Yeah, that's kind of my concern at this point. They could just as easily go 1-3 too though, so who knows. I wouldn't be surprised if McElroy goes into next season as the starter.

The standing ovation when Sanchez was benched for McElroy was great. Definitely one of the top moments of this miserable season.

More Sanchez. I'd imagine he'll be on a really short leash.

him being on short leach and benched in favor of McElroy. I don't see that way. Sanchez will handle Jaguars just fine.

Well him being on a short leash just means if he messes up they'll yank him. So if Sanchez does well it doesn't really apply. If he isn't moving the ball or turns it over a couple times though I think he gets pulled.

Jaguars are really that bad at everything defensively. If Sanchez could not move the chain then he is done as NFL passer.
The odds on him being pulled should be zero.

Honestly the QB situation is so bad right now I don't even know what I want to happen. And the team in general is going to have so many holes heading into this offseason it's almost guaranteed to be a two year rebuild and I'm not sure how I want them to go about it.

I see few possibilities to resolve quarterback problem this off season break.
1. Kyle Shanahan as Head Coach. He could bring Kirk Cousins with him.
2. Tom Clements as Head Coach. He would lobby to get Matt Flynn.
3. Norv Turner as Offensive Coordinator. Jets could sign Alex Smith.
Number 3 is more ideal plan because getting Smith won't burn any draft pick.

I still like Glennon based on what I've watched. Fairly confident that won't happen though.
Jets apparently made a serious effort to trade for Braylon Edwards, who was recently cut. His comments about the Jets FO seem to make a signing unlikely though. Just further goes to show what a mess this team is, trying to trade for a guy who a) they could have signed off the street and b) gets cut later in the season.
