I don't believe that has much to do with Cam; he is the primary building block for Carolina's next front office. Marty Hurney was fired for a string of abysmal contracts (DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, Thomas Davis, etc.), and Ron Rivera is on the chopping block as a direct result of some of those investments.

I like HoneyBadger. If he can mature a bit( biggest factor IMO) he can be a solid nickel guy in a defense as well as a weapon in the return game. Be worth a 5th rounder.

Your prediction is starting to come around from how it looked when he was a rookie, but getting the GM fired? Scott you know better then that...Armanti Edwards, Everette Brown, Jeff Otah, repeatedly trading up into the draft for a future pick, giving Deangelo Williams ridiculous money that he never deserved, etc are all reaesons why he was fired. Cam has absolutely no bearing on why he was fired, he had been making terrible decisions long before then.


Cam is having a sophmore slump, but I'd hardly say that the Panthers regret that pick. Who are they picking instead of him if they held the draft over? And if they did pass you mean the other teams in the top 5 would pass?
