I just don't see it being a solid deal... I don't know. Maybe its because Hanny is one of the players I actually like on the Pirates or maybe its the fact he just came off a great 2011 season but I think he is worth more than Capuano.

**** if that was the case the Red Sox should trade Lackey and pick up some of his money.

This is something that baseball fans must understand. Trades never happen in a vacuum. It's not just " a pitching of a certain caliber" that is traded. It is a. Actual pitcher with a specific contract, certain abilities and a specific career trajectory.

For example, lets not forget Wade Davis was at one time a very highly thought of starting pitcher as well. It's very possible Moore likes Davis as a starter. He may think he's getting two starters for this package.
