Oh Eagles...remember way back when how people wouldn't shut up about how well they were run and how great of coaching they got and all this?
Between the Giants losing interest in the regular season, the Redskins being the Redskins, the Cowboys being the Cowboys, and the Eagles piling up into the biggest train wreck in quite some time, the NFC East is always going to be entertaining.

"Gilded" is what I always like to call them. The Giants actually winning a few Superbowls has been their saving grace, but every year, that division gets chalked up as being the most talented and competitive one EVER. Then the teams all self destruct in typical and hilarious fashion. Even when the Giants have won those Superbowls, they need to stumble along beforehand. Nothing come easy...

Well with us, we usually get over looked because the Eagles are sooo very talented. In fact, they are a dynasty if I am not mistaken. Cowboys have always been that team people are waiting on. The redskins will get better, but have been the doormat of the division.

I saw that too BB. I think Whiz is a pretty solid coach - I would blame the Cardinals woes more on the front office than Whisenhunt. No o-line, two high round RBs that have so far not worked out (Williams due to injury/Beanie Wells due to injury and being mediocre) and the obvious QB situation.
If Whisenhunt gets canned I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a chance again after another coordinator gig.
Blame this guy more than whiz...he has been head of personnel in AZ since 2003:

I also think that canning whiz would not be a great idea. Get a QB there will be a couple out there Mike Vick, maybe Tony Romo. Then get some O-Line help via FA/Draft The Cards would be another solid team in that division.

Someone has to take the fall after an 8 game losing streak. It's possible they don't win again because they just have nothing on offense.

Oh Raiders...the younger Davis is just as brash and impatient as the older one ever was.

That's about 2/3 years overdue. Andy Reid make some sense there to anyone else?

They didn't have to listen to him...but he never would have resigned there if they didn't make a move at QB. Kolb was the best option of a really bad bunch.

They didn't have to but they did. At that point u have to wonder letting a player influence your decisions basically holding your franchise hostage or he'll leave, you got problems there.
If they fire whiz he'll find success in a better situation. He's a great coach.

You mean firing DC Castillo isn't enough?
Firing Castillo has actually made him look better. When he was DC the team gave up 16, 23, 27, 17, 14, 23. After 30, 28, 38, 31, 30, 33.
The team should clean house and get rid of Vick too. Depending on how Foles plays they might take a QB high.
Oakland really needs to take get a new QB.

Some team is going to be lucky to have him. Like I said earlier in the thread the GM should be getting shitcanned before Whisenhunt.

I never heard anything like this when he was in Tennessee under Fisher.

That's...unexpected. He probably got more hate than he truly deserved around here, and I fully admit to being at least in part responsible for that, but this is surprising for a team on the verge of the playoffs.
As long as Caldwell is programmed to give Ray Rice the ball more, he should work out a little better.

Maybe Caldwell will call plays with receivers running routes over the middle... I'm probably asking for too much though.

After the 4th quarter he called against the Steelers two weeks ago he deserved this. Rice needs carries.

This is the picture PFT used in their article about it:
It must have been taken while he was uploading his new playcalling protocols. There was a slight conflict with his old programming when he kept getting an error message saying "PLEASE INSERT PEYTON MANNING." He had been stuck in that loop since the beginning of last season.
