Kelly and Jones did the same thing at Cincinnati.

Going from Central Michigan to Cincinatti is a lot different than Texas Tech to Cincinatti

Yeah you didn't understand what I said. You said that Leach kept TT as a perennial top 25 team, but Cincinnati has been in that same category for the last few years. Other than the leagues they are in, there's not much difference between the two programs.

Because he's not a good head coach?
He will get a job as an OC for a big time program after the bowl games.

The coaching search didn't start off with a riot, so I'd say everything went pretty smoothly!

Ahh, didn't know that. I believe KK interviewed for the HC position at NCSU the other week. He would have been my 2nd choice after Doeren. I think he's going to do BIG things wherever he goes. My only concern is would he be as good in a HC role as he is in an OC role. Would he turn those duties over to someone else? I'd prefer the HC to not be calling plays. I think he has enough to worry about during the game to not have to worry himself with offensive or defensive playcalling.

Going from an SEC job to the worst team in the PAC-12 doesn't make sense at first, but I can understand it. It can't be easy recruiting at the 5th choice (at best) school in your division.

Yea, I didn't understand what you were initially saying - Cincinnati has been a decent team in the worst AQ conference in the BCS. It is a lateral move at best and I think if someone were asked to choose between coaching TT or Cinci 9/10 times they would choose TT.
The Big East is a dying conference - Tuberville went to the easier conference where his only competition will be Louisville and Rutgers for a season.
From top to bottom the Big 12 is a deeper and more competitive conference. Tuberville just saw an easier road to a BCS bid through the Big East than Big 12. So there is a big difference between the two programs - and alot of it is due to the conferences which have a huge impact on this decision.

If Dan Mullen goes to Colorado I may very well punch him in the testicles....not that I give two shits about Dan Mullen but just because that would be the most idiotic thing to ever be done in football.

Why? Mississippi State is a deadend job. They have the smallest athletic department in the SEC by far. They live in the shadow of everyone else in that region.

So you go to Colorado? They looked like a high school team this year.

Mullen must be the biggest prick. I have heard reports that he is, but it must be really bad if he cant get a better job than Miss State or Colorado because hes a better coach than both of those jobs.

I'd love to see one of these schools look at Tom Bradley (the interim for Penn State). He's too good of a coach to be out of a job. Not sure if he wants to return to coaching or if he likes his media gig too much but someone would be very lucky to have him on their staff.

Mario Cristobal, Bob Diaco, Mark D'Onofrio, Stan Drayton, Chuck Heater & Matt Rhule in play for Temple job, per source.

Diaco would be a great hire. He may wait for a bigger job though.

Mario Cristobal has reportedly interviewed for the job.
Mike MacIntyre to Colorado
Sean Kugler to UTEP

I don't see him leaving Boise unless it is a premier job. He has things going on in his life way beyond football that will prevent that.
