Broth's birthday drinking experience
Cheap IPA something you can get for $10 a 12 pack which is a decent price for an IPA. That said it isn't anything special but it isn't as bad as the hipsters will tell you based on nothing except its made from Miller.
A nice malty spicy christmas ale
Still the best pumpkin ale you can get in a bottle
This is slowly becoming my favorite beer. It currently is in a battle with headdy topper and Dock Street's Black IPA

It's a fancyish restaurant, so the markup was to be expected. I had a Pliny and the Obsidion Stout. Then I had an unbelievable smoked dobbelbock to pair with my steak.

I've never had Pliny because I've never been to San Francisco. That beer travels very poorly and loses its flavor quickly. One day...

Yes. Had it instead of champagne a couple New Year's ago. It's OK. It's expensive mostly because of the bottle..

Wet Hop Ale is quite delicious. Not my all time favorite, but it is a fantastic beer.

Yes, apologies. I just saw a bottle of it the other day and was wondering about it.

I've done a few with friends, but nothing recently. I very much want to get back into it.

I wish I let it warm for 10 minutes rather than pouring a glass straight out of the fridge.

Really? I usually let them sit a minute or two before I start drinking, but not too long.

An hour or two seems like a bit much for me. 15 minutes or so strike me as ideal.

i like most good ipas chilled, but not cold. unless it's like, super hoppy. then it doesn't matter as much. but like, the fresh wet hop is subtle enough that warming it a bit helps a lot.

See if you drink the beer slow enough you get the full range of flavors. Yeah people make fun of me for nursing my beer but its what I like to do.

If you get a strong enough beer that you want to enjoy, you have to nurse it.
