I'm excited too.
In two years, they should be ready to contend.
They need OF though.

Yeah, Mets came out very well getting 2 very good prospects. Jays paid a bit too much but now they look like a complete team. Very good 1-3 in the rotation with Buehrle has a good #4 and an elite offense. Pen should be solid

Agreed great move. Write this day down. Nicest thing I've ever said about the Mets. Do you think they could have gotten more at the deadline last year?

Haha you praised them for the Wheeler deal also. I don't think we could have done any better than this. A top 10 prospect who happens to be a C and a SP with upside of a #1/2 to pair with Harvey and Wheeler. We can now trade some of our other younger SP prospects for a OF hopefully. And we get a really young OF who was signed for $1.3 million with high upside.

Dickey's numbers in a dome are insane. He also has great numbers against the AL. I don't know why everyone think he's going to pitch bad.

Because I think his last two seasons were anomalies and he is going to go back to his average self.

I think he should continue to pitch well, though he is moving to the AL East which is loaded with good offenses and hitter friendly parks(including Toronto). I think he could still put up a mid 3 ERA with 7 K/9

6 years and 5 months likely. You don't think they'll keep him down for a week or two to prolong FA by a whole season?
