I think the dude just prefers to throw to Tavon and Stedman instead of getting hit.

That is what he had been instructed to do. Smith can run but is not a dangerous runner.

After this bowl performance, given the weakness of the class, I wonder if Boyd will consider leaving a little bit more. He's played extremely well against a good defense that is pressuring the everlasting **** out of him.

Aaron Murray was quoted as saying staying another year won't make him any taller. The same applies to Boyd considering the main knock on him is his height he might as well declare as his stock won't go up any higher than it is now.

Yep, especially with Ellington surely gone and Hopkins likely gone. It'd be hard for him to top this season personally, and the only thing he hasn't done at Clemson is beat South Carolina. With the weakness of this class, it may be wise to not risk a senior campaign and just come out, especially with that game being the freshest thing on scouts minds.

I just wonder how much people have actually seen him play outside of this game. His game against us for instance was the exact opposite of this game.

Boyd reminds me eerily of Troy Smith (OSU)...it's like I'm watching the "What-If: Troy Smith played for Clemson" episode.
