If the Kings decide they have to trade Cousins, would love to see the Bulls get involved. Low risk, high reward move to potentially get a legit #2 to pair with Rose. Unfortunately, that'll never happen because the FO is extremely risk averse. Not sure they really have the pieces either, but I have no idea what the Kings are looking for.

Deng/Gibson might be too much but I think that would get it done

A poster on a wizards forum posted that he is currently on pace to be the 2nd worst 3 point shooter of all time out of players who average more then 5 attempts per 36 minutes. I havent completely given up because he is doing very well from the free throw line 85.3%. Most of his 3 point attempts are wide open 3s also. This is making me mad Ernie didnt do what he traditionally does and go on athletic ability and take Drummond.

Miami is getting slaughtered by the Bucks right now even though the big three are having great/efficient games.
I don't think this bodes well for them in the playoffs if Mike Miller and Ray Allen don't find a way to start making some consistent threes.

Way too much. Deng is better than cousins. If you love his potential, it's understandable, but throwing in one if the best defensive bigs in the league is madness. Not to mention losing Deng, Gibson and Asik within a year absolutely guts the defensive core that was their identity.

I have no idea why the Pistons would want Cousins. Even if he'd come really cheap, it's still a headache that the team doesn't need.
I'm assuming Dumars thinks they could make it work like they did with Sheed, but we don't have anything close to the same situation as we did before.. We don't have a Ben Wallace or Chauncey, and Lawrence Frank doesn't exactly command the respect that Larry Brown did. I know Cousins has potential if he can get his head straight, and he puts up good numbers now, but the Pistons are just soooo not the right team.
I guess I could understand taking a chance on an inefficient headcase knucklehead jackass at PG/SG/SF, which are all positions we need to upgrade.. but doing a trade like that is just very unnecessary. It'd be like trading Arron Afflalo for a future 2nd Round pick.

The Warriors magically became better without him. Well that and Carl Landry/David Lee/Jarrett Jack playing better than they have in years, but still.

Remember when Knick fans wanted to keep Danillo Gallinari over trading him in a package for Carmelo Anthony?
Yeah.
One of the many idiotic things said in this thread that gets overlooked.

Gallo, despite struggling, is still rebounding better, passing better, turning the ball over less, and committing less fouls.

You seriously want to go there? We got a top 5 NBA player for 2 cents on the dollar. I could care less about Gallo. He'll never give you what Melo gives you and it's not even close.
This is why you'd make a terrible NBA GM. Keep preaching your team brand of basketball. Denver is filled with mediocre players passing the ball to each other.

Well.
1. Chris Paul
2. LeBron James
3. Kevin Durant
4. Kobe Bryant
5. Rajon Rondo
that was really much easier than I thought it would be.

Dwight has a bad back that he's still recovering from. For argument's sake, let's give you Dwight.
Love...no.
Wade, not anymore. He's not the same Wade from 2 years ago.
Z-Bo? Z-Bo?! Get the **** outta here.
Kobe isn't the same Kobe anymore. Still amazing, but right here right now Melo is the better player.
The Love dick sucking contest has to stop. If he was so good, his team wouldn't be so mediocre. Basketball is the type of sport where 1 star can make an instant impact on your team and carry the team. Love is good, but he doesn't take that team to the next level like a top 5 player should. Wake me up when he takes his team to the playoffs. I don't care how poor the talent is around him (and it's not poor fyi), if he's a top 7 player in this league he should be good enough to will his team to the playoffs. And he doesn't.

Rajon Rando?
No. Just no.
Kobe is Kobe, but age makes me give the nod to Melo. Melo is just better than Kobe now. Kobe can't defend as well, rebound as well, both are equal as scorers and passers. Both are clutch. Melo is younger, healthier, and more athletic.
