Really? Cause Rivers seems like he'd be really douchie while Cutler was just a cool dude when me or any of my friends have come into contact with him. Only person I know who's ever gripped about him is a girl who used to work at a bar in denver that he and his crew would go to, n she was pretty bitchy, so I've always taken it with a grain of salt.

He was very good. But he wasn't shut down. He played 1 side of the field and very often didn't cover the opposition's #1 bc they just moved their WR to the other side. Covering a guy for 20 snaps instead of 45 is a HUGE difference.
Plus he played in the AFC West. When the only qb you play is Phillip Rivers for half your games its a lot easier to look like a shut down qb.
But his downfall is for multiple reasons:
1. He can't play zone and now he's asked to play zone once in awhile.
2. He's old. I thought it was funny when people cited Asante's age when reasoning why Philly should keep Nmandi over Asante. Asante was only 1 year older than Nmandi and a far superior CB.
3. He supposedly lost some of his desire to play the game.
It just was a bad signing. I didn't see this coming, I thought it was a good signing at the time, but after watching him his first season I knew right away he was overrated.

That may be true, but rookies who earn playing time aren't more likely to bust just because they got to play in year 1, and on a bigger scale your team gets much needed play-makers. In a division where the top 3 teams are within a hair of winning the division, I would have preferred my rookies to be on the field and helping my team week to week. There are a ton of games I can think of this year where adding Wilson in with 10 touches or Randle in the red zone could have made a difference in getting a spark going.

Who is the clear cut favorite over him this season in the AFC for his spot in the Pro Bowl as the third option?

It's hard to believe that Henry Melton was a runningback in college. He looks like he ate a runningback now.

I met Rivers a couple of times when I was working at a country club in college. He used to play in a golf tournament every summer there. He would go out of his way to shake hands with those of us that worked it and he would thank us and make small talk.
Cutler was at a bar and just a general doucher to everyone there. Jordan Rodgers was cool though! haha
