Nine episodes into Homeland. I don't like any of the characters. I'm not hooked. I suppose I will finish the season since I'm almost done...

I mean it's entertaining enough. It isn't like I'm not enjoying it, I just wouldnt call it much better than decent. I don't like any of the characters except Saul.

Homeland is one of those shows where I care more about what's happening than the characters themselves.

I think it's probably the opposite for most people ...

I am fascinated by Carrie. Claire Danes ******* kills that role. Brodie is an excellent character. Saul always is brilliant.

Yup, all 3 of them are incredibly compelling. And Morena Baccarin always piques my intrest. Especially on Showtime.

Literally the only 'bad' thing about Homeland is the somewhat unbelievable occurrences, which weren't even too hard to believe in Season 1 (they get more creative with plot/story that things become a bit harder to believe). Everything else about Homeland (production quality, acting etc) is for the most part top notch.

I heard a lot of criticism about stuff being unbelievable the last half of season 2 but I thought they wrapped up that season beautifully. I think it is one of the better shows around.

Ever since Commie was a dick about that I have made an effort to fill ever post with as many superb adjectives as possible. I personally think my varying usage of words like great, awesome, incredible, and the like is brilliant.

I'd say it's a sign of a bad writer. Constantly using words like that is distracting (and annoying) to the reader.
Also, you didn't change anything. You've always written this way.

Exactly how I feel. Just wrapped ul the first season and the last few episodes drew me in a bit more. Still, I wasn't blown away by any means. Just a pretty good TV show as far as I'm concerned.
