I've read the book, was just trying to be coy for anyone who didn't want to know(although the name doesn't spoil much). I did read that they are greatly expanding the battle, and I know some of the Necromancer stuff is going to be explained from the Appendices. But other than that, not sure what else. But considering all of the stuff they've made up about Azog and Radagast, I'm guessing they'll have something prepared.

Bus/train pass fare increases.
I understand the need to increase fares and am ok with it generally, but when they come out and specify that it's "to eliminate the advantage of buying monthly passes vs. daily" it's ridiculous. Don't most places offer like 2 week or monthly passes at a discounted rate compared to one time passes because it gives customers more of an incentive to spend a higher amount to guarantee their business?
If I have to pay $4 for a one time pass or $120 for a 30 day pass, what incentive do I have to buy the monthly other than slight convenience. Right now I buy the 30 day pass and probably don't use it to its full potential. But now, instead of paying $120 for a 30 day pass, I would just buy $4 one days for the 20 days I need it and spend $40 less. Great business model, CTA.
(these numbers are made up, but it's something like that)

I think people like to say they are a troll after someone calls them out on their idiocy. Far too many times I've seen the following happen...
1. Person A makes idiotic claim/post with no supporting evidence or sound argument
2. Person B completely destroys person A's post and shows why its so flawed
3. Person A says, "u mad bro? I trolled you so hard" because they are embarrassed, have no argument, and are childish.

I've been sporting a beard since before it was cool. Now everyone and there brother posts pics of "look at my epic beard" pics. And a lot of them have no business doing it, those people who cant grow beards and just have wolfman patches all over there face. yeah...you know who you are.

Maybe not the beard, but perhaps the eyebrows...

The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned. The ones who can't grow beards usually quickly figure it out and stop, simply because they have the self respect to not look stupid. I've worn a beard ever since I could grow one without it looking stupid, and wish more men would join the revival of the beard. I don't care about "cool" or not, beards have mystical, magical, mysterious powers and I do believe more beards will result in a better world, lol.

I can't grow out a full zz top beard but I let it grow out a but since it isn't patchy and grows pretty evenly on my face, I just keep it trimmed though because the longer it gets the nastier it looks haha

I'm no ZZ Top member yet when it comes to my beard, but I haven't touched it since October, and see now end in sight, so I may get to the point of a ZZ Top beard soon (months-year away).

I've come to the realization that college was a terrible waste of time and money. I'm in an entry level marketing/client relations position and absolutely hating it. I've done a lot of construction type work over the years and honestly loved it in comparison to the office job that I have now. The pay was similar, but I got so much more satisfaction out of the work and felt like I accomplished something after each day.
I feel ungrateful due to the fact that I know a lot of college grads are struggling to find work, and I'm in a pretty good situation to start a career. Right now I'm exploring my options with the military. I'm much more comfortable working my ass off physically and mentally rather than doing mind-numbing office work. Sorry about the rant, just wanted to get it off my chest. Life is just grinding my gears in general.

I recently realized it was a good thing I didn't go to college for those same reasons. It wouldn't have done anything for me, personally, simply because of the way my brain is wired. I don't always love my job, but seeing the satisfaction people get from improvements to their greatest investment (their home) really does make me feel good, and proud. I'm not solving world problems with my job, but I would rather do that in my free time, haha. Listen to some music, Tim, spend lots of time thinking things over. Maybe you're current job situation will improve, maybe you might want to look into another job in that field, maybe you might want to go back to construction, or check out your options in the military, make the decisions that you will be happy with while you're making them AND after, and as always, come on here and ask for advice if you ever want it, plenty of us are willing to try to help.

Thanks man. I hope that didn't come off as desperate or depressing. I'd like to think that it's a good thing to be able to recognize when change is needed.
It's just crazy to realize that a mistake was made and begin to start correcting that mistake.

No it didn't, been there myself, sometimes you just have to be brutally honest with yourself and come up with a new plan that you'll be happy with. Consider yourself lucky you are one of the people willing to admit to yourself you made a mistake.
