I hope Philly drafts him so I have even more to laugh at them for in the next decade.

Why would the be a laughing matter if they got him in the 3rd? I'd laugh if we drafted him 4th overall but cmon now.

Because I think you guys deserve somebody better. The McNabb & Vicks of the world still haven't gotten Philly the championship they crave and I just don't think Boyd will either.

McNabb was a gamer for us. I can't complain about the time he spent here while he was in his prime. Vick in 2010 looked like the real deal but he is not a 100 million dollar man by any means. I wouldn't mind taking Boyd if it were in the 3rd or so as a guy to try and develop but by no means am I expecting him to come in from day 1 and be be the guy to take us to the next level. I dont see anyone in this class with that potential...if I were to pick one who I think will produce the most it'd be Wilson.

If I was Philly I would be drafting O-Line and secondary help before anything else.
Foles certainly played well last season considering that team gave up on Reid. I think he may have a future especially with a coach that utilizes the running game

I am really not sold at all on Foles. Maybe for a year or so while we find another guy, but I could also see them bringing in a guy like Alex Smith as well. OLine and Safety are the two biggest needs and my preference would be to go with Joeckel if he is available otherwise move down.

a new coach with a long term deal might want to build the thing from the ground up. As you say,get the offensive tackle this year and then grab that better QB in 2014. (you did imply that right?)

Depends on how Foles plays. I think he was pretty good all things considered. Philly was a sinking ship from week 6 on.

The Eagles need to get Jon Gruden on the line and make him the highest paid coach (or something around that). He's the best offensive coach they are going to get and they need someone to fit Nick Foles' passing abilities.

The problem is, that Gruden will come in, decide he can't work with Foles, then go out and sign or trade for... Fitzpatrick, Palmer, or Matt Flynn (nah, too young)...make that Alex Smith, proclaim him one of the best QBs in the league and his mastermind on the field, then fill the roster full of cast-off vets from other teams while the young talent sits on the bench wasting away. Good game day planner, horrible evaluator of talent.
