I really want the Bills to sign Dwayne Bowe. That would be one sexy offense for a 1st round QB to step into.

Ding. Ding.
We recognize the need for a receiver, though, so I hope we can find something similar.

I'm sure Mario Williams didn't want to go either. Ralph seems willing to blow the bank though....he want to see another playoff game before he passes and seems to be willing to spend to do so. Mike Wallace would also be an option.

Dwayne Bowe will go to the team that pays him the most. This I guarantee you.

The new GM in KC will re-sign Bowe to a long term deal.

Akers unfortunately had to be replaced. Anything beyond 40 yards was essentially out of the question. He's struggled ever since the game we tied with the Rams basically. I don't like Cundiff at all, and I'm surprised we didn't try out more candidates. Maybe he nailed his audition. But his history and how Cundiff performed in the playoffs on his brother's team should have said something. Akers will still be on the team though and both will compete for kicking duties. That's a shame, because I really like David Akers, but he's struggling. It is what it is.

Still don't under Billy Cundiff. Wasn't there any one younger to sign ? I just hope he can hit 40 plus . and we are good.

Didn't really know where to put it but did anyone else see the talk about the Bucs looking to part ways with Freeman? Schiano wants to bring in his own QB apparently.

He still has a year left on it and it's not particularly expensive to keep him. They might make a move to get a QBotF this offseason, but i think Freeman will play out the final year with the Bucs. Maybe they try to trade him this offseason, but I don't know what kind of market there would actually be.

As he should. Freeman has all the physical tools you can ask for but he is extremely frustrating. He isn't a bad QB, but I think he lacks something needed to put it all together. i'm not sure what that something is, but I'm pretty sure he lacks it. Someone is going to give him a big contract after this season and I just don't think he is worth it. If Schiano sees a QB at 13 that he likes, he should grab him.

Yea, I think the speculation people were talking about today is that they'd try and move him in a deal and then sign some other vet (like say...Matt Moore) and draft someone to compete.

I think there would be a decent market. He is a 6'6, strong armed QB who has decent mobility, has had some success already as a starter in the NFL, and turns 25 in 6 days. I'm not a fan of his but some teams will be drooling over him if he is on the market.
Maybe Andy Reid doesn't love Geno Smith. Rather than use number one overall on Smith, trade a second for Freeman and grab whoever you think it the top prospect in the draft.

I could see Rex Ryan begging his new GM for him. He'd at least keep the offense on the field long enough for the defense to not be worn out before halftime.

They're not going to throw him away for a single second rounder. A second is what you get for a backup QB who's had a couple of good games (i.e. Kevin Kolb).
He's an up-and-down kind of guy, but he's better than that, at least.
