I just looked at the final polls and two things surprised me:
1. Ohio State not getting a single first place vote in the AP- Are they better than Alabama? Absolutely not. But I'm surprised not a single vote from BIG-land said "Hey, Ohio State was the only undefeated team in the country. They should be number one."
2. How did Notre Dame not fall further- Notre Dame got destroyed. They lost by 28 and the score still doesn't reflect how badly they were beaten! And they only fell to 4th (3rd in the coaches since Ohio State can't get votes)? How can you vote them ahead of Georgia (who lost to Alabama by 4) or Texas A&M (who beat Alabama). They beat Stanford, so I can see being ahead of them. But they should be a few spots lower.
Look at it this way, if Rodgers had Allstate instead of State Farm, he'd be protected from mayhem like this

Georgia also got their asses spanked by the gamecocks so I don't see how they are relevant. ND still only had one loss on the season.
