Lol @ Wiggins picking FSU over UK.
Why shouldn't he want to play with other five star, future NBA players? That team could he special. Yet he should go to FSU to "be the guy?"
Really?
I don't think we get a 4 seed, assuming we make the tournament. We look absolutely pathetic on offense. No one can shoot, turnovers and no low-post scoring is a recipe for a bad year.. We look BAD. If we get in, we get in by the skin of our teeth Imo.

That guy always spouts this crap, as if he hasn't noticed over the years that almost every high profile player that comes out doesn't give two shits about any of the factors he's talking about.
And lololl about Wiggins picking any school for more minutes. He's getting big minutes no matter where he goes.

This. Remember when Parker was going to BYU?

There's a reason I'm not holding my breath on Tyus Jones coming to the Gophers, because the majority of these guys don't care about being the "undisputed leader" or whatever other narrative driven factors people want to come up with. They care about making final fours and boosting their NBA draft stock.
And you're overreacting Dan. No way OSU misses the tourney although they were overrated to start the year. Just by beating up on the crap B1G teams in NW, Nebraska, Purdue, and Penn State you have 6 conference wins handed to you, and you only need 2 or 3 after that.

Yeah, I was a bit dramatic for sure. We just have no shooting at all and Thomas' streakyness drives me insane. We'll see how they respond tonight after getting faceraped by Illinois.
I think Jones ends up a gopher as long as your coaching situation remains stable. And it could be since you guys look pretty legit.

Kentucky's not winning the championship next year. They have too many freshmen. Also, basketball is a team sport.

Going to BYU wouldn't have hurt his draft stock one bit.

Yeah, when they won last year they were a veteran laden squad full of gritty role players and glue guys.

He and Jahlil Okafor supposedly want to play together, and Okafor isn't interested in Minnesota at all. If they change their mind and Minnesota keeps playing like this I suppose it's possible, but I'm more optimistic with Rashad Vaughn, who is also a top 10-15 guy from Minnesota.

Oh wow. You mean like 2 years ago when they went 38-2 and won the title with 3/5 starters being freshman including their best two players?

I would argue that the team doesn't win the championship without Doron Lamb.
But yeah, regardless, his argument is still ridiculous.

That was a lucky shot, but what the **** was Iowa State doing defensively there? Why leave McLemore that open when he's already scored 25 on you?

So KU didn't really deserve to win that game but I'll take it.

Gophers win by 17 in Illinois. Win in Indiana on Saturday and we're in the top 5 next week.

McLemore is crazy good. And it would make so much sense for him to come to Seattle. We could rap Thrift Shop together...

Yeah, I totally buy that there's a player in/about to be in college basketball who would take minutes away from Wiggins. Unless he's a colossal disappointment, he'll be far and away the best player on an incredible team.
