Miami Dolphins to unveil new logo around 2013 NFL Draft.
The Dolphins are apparently changing their logo. I don't know why. I think it looks pretty solid, the one they already have that is. This is apparently the rumored/leaked image and it seems that Miami Dolphins fans aren't happy about it:

Whispers of a new logo for the Miami Dolphins have swirled through Miami for months. The rumor has been confirmed.
Owner Stephen Ross said, via The Palm Beach Post, the organization will reveal a different logo before the draft April 25-27.
"We're looking at it, finalizing it, but I'm excited," Ross said during a news conference Monday. "It's time for an upgrade."
Several versions of the logo have been leaked. The latest features a streamlined Dolphin without the signature helmet.
We're usually against teams messing with their classic logos, but a little update wouldn't be the worst thing in this case. Something about that helmet-wearing dolphin just always seemed odd to me.
I think they should stick with the one they've had for the last decade or so.

I feel like people on this forum hate change. Anything new that comes out people hate.
I personally like it. It's simple but nice.
I think it really does depend on the context of the change. And it's subjective of course, so it's going to be personal. The Panthers change wasn't that bad I thought.

While true, it's all about perception and reputation. It's not called Dolphin Week! No one goes to Sea World to swim and play with sharks. Girls aren't wearing shark shirts, rings and necklaces.
They should get rid of that stupid orange ring behind the dolphin. What is it's purpose?
Dolphin jumping perfectly into the center of a setting sun duhh. Doesn't that make you want to go on vacation? The Miami Dolphins have been running America's biggest subliminal tourism campaign for decades. The government gave them Don Shula and Dan Marino so nobody got suspicious. The Daunte Culpepper experiment didn't quite work out. I'm definitely still drunk.
Look at it this way, if Rodgers had Allstate instead of State Farm, he'd be protected from mayhem like this

Could they give the new logo some eyes at least. Just looks weird
could have just easily had the same logo, but just get rid of the goofy helmet. Either way, it's not really a big deal since the logo is still basically the same. You can only try and do so much with a dolphin as the logo
