Jamar Taylor, CB, Boise St.
Having watched him play for four years, I can say that he is a very aggressive corner and one of the leaders of an impressive Boise State defense this year.

Love this guy. He kind of reminds me a little of Nathan Vasher, ex Chicago Bear CB. A little bigger than Nate was coming out. He's tough as nails. Shut down most WRs he faced this year. Very fundamentally sound as far as footwork/technique goes. Has good enough speed. Decent ball skills. I think he can play outside the numbers or over the slot.
Like I thought about Casey Hayward last year....if you aren't getting the top guy in the draft (last year Claiborne, this year Milliner), and want a CB that can play vs. NFL caliber WRs right away, wait until the 3rd round or so and get Taylor. |
