I didn't love the Michael Scott Paper Arc but "Broke" was one of may favorite episodes of the series. Fantastic episode.

I don't think it's just because I'm nostalgic in light of this being the final season of the show — I really liked this episode again tonight.
They've found the right balance and the right character relationships to highlight. Really impressed by the last 3 episodes without Andy around.

Wasn't too impressed with this episode. There were some funny parts but the lice storyline was pretty weak. The part where Dwight dropped the insect fog bomb was funny though.

The first time yes the second time not so much. There was no need to go there again.

Dwight's line about pubes, and Creed's line about hating bald people were really the only two parts that stood out to me.

I didn't mind the episode. I found all of Dwight's lines and actions to be the least funny aspect, which seems in stark contrast to what you guys just said.

The SAG strike was probably it for me. Afterwards, the good moments on the show were still there, just not as much compared to before the strike. The increasing popularity of guys like Krasinski, Helms and Robinson also hurt the show, since they couldn't include them consistently. The recurring pattern of this season is that story arcs are there, then suddenly they're gone. The latest arc with Pete and Erin might have something, but who knows.

I agree with everything you said. I always argue that the show lost its direction and luster beginning in Season 5, which was the first season following the SAG strike.

I thought it was a solid episode. The best Meredith episode in as long as I can remember. She was ******* hilarious.
Kevin shoving the bubblewrap into the baler was golden. "It's ok. We're allowed to do this."

this wasn't even funny, and why did they break out of filming.
Man they really are trying hard to kill this off.

Found it very odd that they introduced us to this Brian guy at the end comforting Pam.

I liked a good portion of this episode. It wasn't great (like most episodes this season), but there were at least 4-5 genuinely funny things I laughed at.
I'm keeping an open mind about the camera crew coming to life for now.

I thought the last two episodes were pretty good.
The camera crew coming to life was kind of weird, but I'll give it a chance. I'll wait to bash/praise it until the show's done.

I actually liked the ending. I had this very uncomfortable feeling after that last 4-5 minutes.

This show is so turrible. It's almost like they're intentionally ruining it.

Didn't think either episode was good tonight. Just dull really.

I didn't love these episodes much either. A storyline about Jim being messy? Really? Is that the best they can do? There were some laughs but it was below average.

I have no problem with bringing in the documentary guys and Brian.
I enjoyed these episodes and actually think the show is on an extended roll that it hasn't had since maybe as far back as the Michael Scott Paper Company arc.
This late in the show's run, I'm just gonna enjoy it.

It's crazy how much better the show got when they decided to just not have a replacement for Michael.
