Aboushi is another in a pretty strong line of Virginia LT prospects. I think he could end up going in the first.

I was really skeptical about Kyle Long being a LT, but now re-watching the game vs. ASU, there's no doubt in my mind, he can possibly even be a starting LT by the seasons start. It might just be me, but every time they run behind him, he's dominant. Always either creating a lane or driving guys off the ball.

Probably as much as anyone I'm looking to see how he does at the combine. just to see what kind of lateral quickness and strength he has.
With Matthews and Lewan going back to school you can only assume someone like Long is seeing his stock soar.

His athleticism isn't even remotely in question, or it shouldn't be. Quite easily gets up to LBs on the next level, easily shadows and gets out with quick edge rushers (though he's had limited experience with it). Elite level athlete, that was on all over Arthur Brown for KSU during the bowl game.

JFC, I can't believe people are considering Lane Johnson has a top 10-15 pick. The OL at Oklahoma the past year was a complete joke. They struggled with run blocking all year against some weak defensive teams, and that includes Lane. I can see taking him in the late 1st round and early 2nd, but not top ten.

Joeckel is the only top 10 guy this year - if Lewan and Matthews declared they could of all been top 10 guys IMO. Johnson should be a 2nd/3rd round guy. I am interested to see how Fisher does at the Senior Bowl - I think he is the 2nd best OT prospect in this draft.

Not sure just who is proclaiming Johnson a top 10-15 pick. Late 1st seems probable to me.

The Bears OL needs to be fixed in a hurry and I don't think throwing a rookie picked #20 (aka not a blue chipper like Kalil last year) in there at LT will solve all their problems as fast as they want/need. Especially when you are talking about the 20th pick possibly being a player from a mid-major (Fisher), a guy that was a TE and DE just 2 years ago (Johnson), and a guy that looks to be a RT at best (Fluker).

You cannot get LT's in FA, very few are ever allowed to become FA's So it's the draft or bust.

I agree but I cannot see Fisher slip out of round 1, he'll go anywhere from about 18-25.
