^^^ Yeah, don't miss either, that's gotta be a really sweet show. I saw TBT at Roo and Ra Ra Riot at Firefly, and both are great great shows. TBT is probably my favorite bluegrass band and that energy they have in their videos is nothing compared to them live. Ra Ra Riot I actually saw by accident, thinking sat first they were another band, but we didn't leave because we liked them too much, they're another really fun band to watch and have a real unique sound.

i don't like the new 'electronic' stuff without the cellist, but their old stuff is fun. bought tickets already for tbt, bloody expensive show. i didn't realize people were still charging $30.
<3 Alexandra. I haven't heard new stuff without her, but I doubt it's as awesome. Plus she's hot. And was in a band. If she had blue or green hair I'd be in love.

When they were around my area it was like 22 before taxes and stuff, which isn't too bad, but maybe your venue is trying to get some remodeling done soon or something, or maybe they have a sick opening act. Let us know how the show is then, I'm sure it'll be great.

nah, it's the ogden. it's intentionally a piece of **** venue with great acoustics and sound board guys who don't know how to take advantage of them. i'm sure the show will be fun. it looks like 'honeyhoney' is the opener. haven't pulled them up on spotify yet, though.
This popped up on reddit the other day. Bit similar to some of the other stuff that's come out recently, but damn I'd rather listen to this than 99% of the crap that comes out these days.

Holy ******* ****. This is powerful. Just amazing and awesome. That songwriting is so strong I can feel everything they are saying. After listening to this just the first time this is already one of my favorite songs. Thanks you so much for sharing this, good sir.

is it worth it to pay $95 to see the skate and surf festival? It's literally in my hometown, 5 miles away from my house. I'd see saves the day, into it over it and transit (who's my favorite band that I haven't seen live yet). apparently more bands are being announced but those are the only 3 that I really like. thoughts?

If you have the money, why not? There are a few names on there I'd like to see as well, and idk how many more will be announced, but ~$100 for at least 3 bands isn't a bad deal at all, especially when there is no other real investment in terms of travel time and money. I personally would pay $100 to see my favorite bands I haven't seen live yet alone, but that's just me. Plus you'll probably have the opportunity to see most of the rest of the bands playing there. If you don't like them, you can always go to another band or go home, maybe you'll find more music to listen to during the festival.

Pitchfork is streaming Foxygen's new album, We Are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace and Magic, right now, and so far it is so ******* nasty (in the great way).
