Zeller gets more hype but Victor Oladipo is their best player. I'd say second best in the conference to Burke.

Some of these block/charge calls gotta go our way eventually.
Ok this officiating is horseshit. Just terrible.

Victor is the best perimeter defender and finisher in the B1G in my opinion. Moreover Cody's lack of rebounding would concern me as an NBA executive selecting in the lottery.
Bad officiating in assembly hall for the away team? Color me shocked.

Yeah we're getting ****** here, should probably be a single digit game right now. I don't complain about officiating often but damn. Still, can't fall behind 23 and complain that officiating is the reason you lost.

Also, lost in all of this, Duke lost.

Not even upset that we lost. We shouldn't even drop in the rankings after this. What a second half.

We really shouldn't. We're still the best 2-loss team in the country, and almost everyone behind us has at least 2 losses. I'd accept an argument for NC State, since they did just beat Duke, but they also got smoked by OK State.

Good game - did you get nervous when bazz missed that second free throw?
Anderson is a boss down low

I was a bit nervous, but pretty confident the Bruins would pull it out. UCLA had control almost the entire second half, but got a bit lax on defense right at the end as well as the Buffs hitting some shots. The Bruins are rounding into form, it just took a bit of time for everyone to mesh, which is understandable.

Kentucky was an aberration last year. To win with three freshman in your starting lineup is pretty much unheard of. It will be a while before we see that again in my opinion. This year's team is bearing that out. That and the fact that they don't have any depth since all their guys go pro after one season. It's really hard to build depth when you recruit the way Calipari does.

UCLA is starting to push the tempo and take advantage of their athletes. It's what they should have been doing all along.

Remember when you said UCLA was "imploding" 2 weeks into the season because fatty Josh Smith and Tyler Lamb transferred?

He has really improved.
He went from lightly recruited, raw athlete to legit 1st round prospect.
He's even shooting near .500 from 3 now.

The class coming into Kentucky next year is considerably better than this year's freshman class. If they get Wiggins then it's not even close. And that 2011 class was a lot better than their 2012 class too.
