I tend to believe Manti. The guy was embarrassed to let out that he was invested in someone he'd never met. Online dating is comparable to how people perceived online gaming 10-15 years ago. Because he lied about it for over a month to the media and fans. This in turn helped his Heisman chances. That's why people are mad.

If it was just a matter of him dating a girl that wasn't real this would be a non-story. It's the fact she died, he played it up, and then he lied about it to cover it up for well over a month.

I mean, stories evolve. Especially ones like this. It's not surprising people are still interested in it. There are still a ton of details yet to emerge. I don't think anyone is mad or can't get over it.

Personally I'm just intrigued in how it develops.

I don't give a rats ass about Te'o. Problem is that's what you think just because I don't agree with you. There's a difference there that you're incapable of seeing, but that's not my problem.

I don't know why people are acting like this is such a big deal. If he won the Heisman then it would've been a big deal. If he committed a violation or crime, sure... it would be a big deal. Lying to the public/media is such a panty offense.

People act like he owes them something. He doesn't own ****. People just have to deal with it... or better yet... not even care.

I have no problem with you having you're own opinion. I haven't argued that. You can think it's not a big deal, I really couldn't care less. But you're saying the people that don't agree with you are mad and angry, which just isn't true.

IMO Te'o is an idiot. That doesn't mean i'm angry at him or that I think it's some sort of massive story. That's just my opinion. Just because I don't have the same opinion as you it doesn't mean i'm angry.
