most of that success was in the 80's. I imagine a ton of the SF posters currenty posting here were BORN and in diapers during that time period
they remember the marvelous JEFF GARCIA years the most

Most around here are probably too young to witness those years.
How exactly should they handle it? With a good game and a handshake, I suppose?

I love how everyone bashes 49ers fans but the truth is that ALL fans are exactly the same when their team win and exactly the same when their team loses. Seriously, there's no difference.

I haven't seen a Penn Stater illegally touching someone like that since Sandusky left.

Didn't Julian Edleman sexually assault a woman? And Talib isn't exactly an angel either. If you pick which team to cheer for based on which team lacks bad guys, you won't be cheering for any team. The NFL is full of criminals.

Maybe, but what separates 49ers fans from most other fans on here is you guys act like this all the time.

Yea - I mean he was essentially a game manager today - didn't make the big mistakes and kept them in the game. He has had a nice run his first year starting but I will be one of those folks who will be rooting against him for his career

Edelman is out anyway, and Talib is a criminal but didn't beat the **** out of a pregnant chick. I just don't care for the Ray Lewis tribute show.

What he's trying to say is that you all should be more sophisticated like Giants fans. Use proper English. No elbows on the table. Sit up straight.
This place cracks me up. Whatever. Enjoy the win boys.

Here's a post from a 49ers fan that is actually ancient enough to have been born before all of their success...

LMFAO. Dan Marino in the pregame show mentions Tom Brady not being to the Super Bowl in eight years and gets the most uncomfortable look on his face. Looked like someone shoved a cucumber up his bum and dookied in his mouth at the same time.
Poor guy did not deserve that career.

I'm with you but at this point I just root for and against teams, not really the players individually. Tony G was an exception to that. Personally I'd rather have the Pats lose. Brady is the biggest douche bag that no one talks about in the NFL so I'd rather not see him win.
Although I guess having them go to another Super Bowl and lose would be pretty funny too.
Either way.

No, not at all. I just get tired of the 49ers fans blind homerism and idiocy. I'm surprised the 49ers didn't lose since the media was trying to kill their spark by reporting the story of Crabtree potentially being involved in a sexual assault...
Plenty of teams have homers, but right now the 49ers fans on this board are leading the charge, along with the Packers probably.

It's been 18 years since we went to the Super Bowl and prior to last season, we havent been in the playoffs since the 2002 season so after a decade, why shouldnt us 49ers fans enjoy it and act like we do? It amazes me that if 49ers fans act like this, its a problem but if fans of other teams do the same, thats okay. Seriously, there's no difference.
