I know this team still has a lot of improving to do, but holy ****. Thomas Dimitroff has just build us a franchise from nothing.

Thanks Mike Nolan and Mike Smith. Dumbest coaches in the NFL.

That is not on Matt. IMO we had 1 series with bad playcalling on offense, the one where we threw 2 consecutive passes to Quiz, other than that the offense was great. They gave us a 17-0 lead and Nolan calls soft defense the rest of game and our defense was awful. That is the problem.

Some of this has to be put on Matt Ryan's shoulders....
Juilo was beasting, Matt was playing flawless in the first half he threw
3 TDs how can you go from that.....To a fumble an INT and zero scoring drives
in the second half? we should have atleast put up 1 scoring drive the run
game became obsolete in the second half.

This team has some serious holes. Most importantly at quarterback.

Matt just needs to get that killer instinct in him.
the main problem is our defense having that bend but don't break philosophy
and not knowing to defend the run option.
Cam, Russell, Collin exposed us this season.

It has nothing to do with killer instinct. Just remember. Ryan ain't that good bruhs. He's getting us 1 Super Bowl. Max. When? No one knows, but he can't carry us. 1. Remember that, cherish that, appreciate that.

It's all we can possibly hope for. Plenty of holes still to fill, so I'm not worried about peaks, windows, etc. Just have to keep chugging, and hope for luck, and we'll get 1 in the next 8 years.

It's all Matt Ryan's fault the Falcons lost. The Falcon's running game was held in check, just like in their other playoff losses, but it's all Ryan's fault.

I like the way Matt Ryan played for the most part. This is a tough 49ers offense. Even with the targets he has, it's hard to be a QB when you have no running game and the o-line is doing a crappy job blocking for you. Be reasonable guys.

This will be quite an interesting offseason. Ryan will get a new contract and numerous important roster decisions must be made. I just want the Falcons to stockpile good players. They obviously have numerous needs. I'd love to see them add a couple of stud d-lineman, a beast of a RB, another good WR, a corner, the best left tackle ever and a maybe another quality LB.

Seriously? That's 7 guys right there, and we still need to lock Matt Ryan up. You're not even taking TE into consideration, and also a returner.

I was kind of joking. The Falcons have needs all over the place. It's going to be hard work for them to find all the right guys.

The needs are not that extensive IMO, in respect to the rest of the league we sit pretty well. I'm not very concerned about tight end. A tight end is going to find holes in our offense with the outside threats and Harry Douglas can pick up some slack. Chase Coffman might be nothing but then again he made an impressive catch against Seattle so maybe there is something to him.
The need IMO comes down to pass rush, pass rush, pass rush. And then runningback. I want our first three picks to be DL, DL, and RB. Not necessarily in that order but perhaps.

I agree we need to upgrade the pass rush big time. It was our main downfall in the playoffs.
at 30 though I see Eddie Lacey being a great value there being the best back in the draft. No DE or DT at 30 is going to change our success on the D-Line. After that build some depth and hope to god some1 steps up or land a big name in FA.

We should trade up 25 spots to get Jarvis Jones. All our problems with pass rush would be solved.

I like Damontre Moore better but we're not getting either (I don't think... hah).
I like Lacy a ton as well, but I just get to wondering how much influence his OL had on his success and what other backs would have done in a similar situation. I would not oppose drafting him but the drop off between a round one back and round two back isn't as large between a round one and round two DL. IMO.

Not a real big fan of his at all. Just dont see him translating well, and he has been injured most of his career.
I know youre joking but I didnt think he will be a good NFL player.

I have little doubt Jarvis will be a good player if healthy. I feel like fans who question him should go watch him vs Florida and Mizzou. He was ridiculous in those games.
