Love the Mingo pick! With Mingo, Jordan, and Richardson all on the board, it would almost wise to trade down 3-4 spots and add another pick while still grabbing one.
And I wish Goodell swallow his pride and return our second rounder.

Not bad for Dallas.
Cooper then Hunt would be soooo much better though.

Thanks for the input. I am not as high as Hunt in the 43 defense as some, but think in the 2nd it would have been good value.
I went with Jordan because Jerry has a history of passing on lineman in the draft. Cooper would be wise, and it largely depends on what they plan to do with their defensive personnel, and if Spencer returns of course.
Thanks for your input and I will consider it in future versions

Thanks. With the aging D-Line and fast surface I thought Mingo may be a good fit.
I almost went with Cordarelle Patterson at this selection but decided against it, what would your opinion have been?

this pick will largely depend on what goes on during the offseason. With the impending FA of Melton and Okoye I went with the DT position.
Frederick was in consideration in the 2nd, but I decided with the OT because I think he'll fit the new coaches scheme more than Webb

Te'o is a great pick for Baltimore in the first round. Not so much for Frederick. If Birk retires they have Gradkowski (who they just took with a top 100 pick last year) and it looks like Osemele is going to be a fixture at LG to go along with Yanda at RG. They need depth but that can wait to be addressed until later in the draft.

With who is left, I guess I'm okay with that Colts pick. I might like to have Barrett Jones or Eric Reid over him though. Meh, it is close. Not many prospects I'm super excited about with how things fell in this mock.

Thanks for the feedback. My official thought process behind the Frederick pick was to do some shuffling. I think McKinnie will likely be gone as will Birk. Moving Oher back to LT, Osemele should be able to handle the RT spot. Gradkowski moves up the depth chart to starter, Yanda at RG and Frederick plays the LG position.
I forgot to change the position listed to what he'd actually be playing for the Ravens

Ahh, if you're projecting Oher to shift back to LT then I could see your reasoning. I really think that Osemele is going to stay at LG though. He's looked a lot better there than at RT. Jah Reid wasn't bad at LG when he was healthy but I expect him to shift to RT in the situation that Oher goes back to LT. Aside from Oher I think that lines everybody up in their best position along the OL.

Thanks, I thought Hankins was pretty good value and with 2 of the 3 starters on the D-Line being FA's I thought it'd be wise to bring someone in.

Geno Smith + Alec Ogletree = perfect Chiefs draft
Seriously, there are several directions that the Chiefs can take in the 2nd round (ILB, CB, WR) but if a guy like Ogletree slips down, it's a no-brainer.

mightytitan9,
Decent job for the Rams but I really don't see them going back to back offense in the first round.
They'll take a defensive front seven guy like Sheldon Richardson over an O lineman like Lane Johnson in the first.
Of course, you being a Titan fan are probably used to this, right?
WHAT SAY YE?

Knowing Fishers strategy I know how much he values the offensive line. I don't see the talent here he is used to and that's why I went with Lane Johnson, he doesn't get the publicity many do, but he's a very good OT.
They've got quite a bit invested in the D-Line already, and mostly need depth at the positions. I'm not sure they'd go D-Line there, whether they go O Line or not is to be seen, but they need help on the offensive side of the ball and that's why I spent their first two selections there

I don't see the Bengals taking a DT that high. They just drafted Devon Still and Brandon Thompson last year in the 2nd and 3rd Round. Give them a S, LB, or CB at that spot.

Great pick for the Colts getting Hankins. He would be a young impact player we need on the DL.

Interesting 49ers mock.
I like both players, but I'm not sure how likely it would be that we'd take either. We just drafted Jenkins towards the end of the 1st round last year. I don't think they'd give up on him that soon. Hopkins looks like he could be a special player, though.
Gore doesn't seem to be slowing down much. James has come on during the latter part of the season and hopefully Hunter can come back at full strength. I see Hunter and James leading our backfield in the near future.
I think Floyd could be in play at the end of round 1 going by your mock. Possibly even Ertz or Poyer. It's hard to say for the niners right now.

Thanks for the input. After look I will reconsider in future mocks, when looking over the depth chart online I forgot to look at the players on IR so I forgot about Manningham and Hunter.

Wr is about 12th on the list of Jets needs. Going 2 rounds without addressing the fact that we have 0 pass rushers on the team would be catastrophic especially considering how good the pass rush class is early

hate the mingo pick, with his frame hell never be more than a situational pass rusher and who spends a first round pick on that

Hard to imagine Oakland reaching for Milliner there. McKenzie seems like a "build from the inside out" guy (thank gawd), and our insides need some serious building.
I believe, and I think nobodyinparticular would second this, that McKenzie will use up the entire clock trying to trade out of this pick. Whether a trade happens or not, our first pick will almost certainly be a fatty or a scheme diverse pass rusher.
Trading up for Simon is interesting. I still haven't gotten a handle on what his pre-Senior Week, pre-Combine stock is, but I do love the cat's intangibles. Definitely seems like the type of player our new regime covets. We're getting an up close and personal look at him in Mobile right now. I wouldn't be surprised to see our staff fall in love with him, even if he is looking really awful in coverage.
