Blizzard is ******* up. Someone hacked my Diablo account stole all my shiet and doing that got my account locked for not only diablo but my starcraft stats were wiped and locked out! I just dont feel like calling them to fix their **** so I haven't played in awhile.

Anyways thinking about putting up a minecraft server unless damix is around and wants to do it!

Same -_- The fact they are openly announcing they are beginning engine tests in a closed environment means they are starting to gain traction.

Well, I mean, 90% of MMOs suck these days. I guess after being let down by TOR I'm reluctant to believe any MMO will be good these days. KOTOR was my all-time favorite game and Bioware my favorite developer. I feel like if they failed then there is no reason to expect this game to be great.

I hope I am wrong though. I haven't read up too much on TES:O but I don't know how they will be able to capture the Elder Scrolls experience in an MMO. Will it be first person? Will it not be a turn based style RPG like all other MMOs? Those are two key issues.

Yeah I guess I see where you're coming from. I still do like TOR, but it isn't worth paying a monthly subscription for, so that sucks. I did really enjoy myself when it first came out though.

I am skeptical as well, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. There needs to be another A+ MMO title out already. WoW is old news, TOR is solid, Rift / TSW are meh, everything is meh.

I'm hoping TESO or EQ: Next fill that void.

I enjoyed myself as well. I don't hate TOR, but like you said, not worth paying for.

The MMO market has just been so meh. Companies need to stop being stupid and not try to clone WoW or ride off their success. People who play WoW or quit WoW don't want to play another game that's similar to it.

Something different needs to be tried or there will never be another top tier MMO to compete with WoW. Simple as that.

I think TESO and EQNext are different enough to hit that sweet spot you're talking about. I know EQNext is aiming to be a huuuuge sandbox type game, which is the opposite of most things on the market now.

I was really hoping GW2 would have been better than it is, but alas, it wasn't meant to be.

I have a soft spot for SOE because EQ was my first hardcore MMO experience. Nothing will beat it as far as I'm concerned, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt too.
