Ok so can we finally admit that Mike D'Antoni is an awful coach? I'm tired of hearing this "he's an innovator" bullcrap or how he's an average coach.
No. He's neither. He's a terrible coach. How much more evidence do you need to see to realize he's terrible?
"Yeah but if he has a Steve Nash in his prime, an Amare in his prime, a Joe Johnson in his prime he can win games!"
Yeah no ****, who wouldn't?
He's an awful coach.

It's really hard to work that team, given that Kobe ***** up any gameplan that could be created from it. Not that D'Antoni is great per se, but he's average-ish. Not everyone is Pop.

Kobe has to shoot. Who else is gonna score? Pau is grossly mismanaged, and Dwight is clearly not healthy yet. And the rest of the team sucks.
I was at the Knicks/Lakers game at MSG this year. In the first half Kobe tried being a good soldier and pass it to his teammates and let the flow of the offense dictate who scores. It was awful, they were down as much as 25 points.
Then in the 4th quarter he was like **** it everyone sucks I'm taking over. They come within 6 points before eventually losing.
Kobe has to shoot. Stop being such an efficiency *****. Theory and practicality don't go hand in hand all the time.

It would have been a good deal if cavs were the ones DEALING the future first rounder. That was just the cherry on top.

Stephen A Smith just went off on the Lakers and 98% of the time I think he's full of **** but I actually agreed with what he said.
LAL is just a walking disaster. I knew D'Antoni was a ******* mistake.

I've wondered that myself and curious if we would be able to get him into Dallas with the core we have now. Still not a championship team but it wouldn't completely waste Dirk and at least gives him a chance to go out in the playoffs.

If we resign Mayo and Collison, it'll be tough. Even If we were to extend Mayo to reasonable deal and nobody offers TOO much for Collison, we should have some money to work with, but not a lot. We only have Dirk, Marion, Cunningham and Crowder guaranteed for next season. So spending the rest of our cap on a max type deal can really hurt our depth.

Depth has gotten the Mavs no where this season, they need to offer D12 a max deal if they can. Mayo/Dirk/D12 would be pretty competitive, you could fill in with pieces as you went along.

Kevin Johnson making in a mad dash to help keep the Kings in Sacramento.
David Aldridge @daldridgetnt
Johnson says Sacramento's model is similar to San Francisco's that kept the Giants there instead of moving to Florida.
David Aldridge @daldridgetnt
Johnson's plan: identify local owners and equity partners, commitment for new arena, demonstrate the viability of the Sacramento market.
David Aldridge @daldridgetnt
Johnson: "we're going to do everything we can to put forth a competitive offer..."
David Aldridge @daldridgetnt
Johnson says he can't disclose the names of the major equity partners today, perhaps by the end of the week.

The Kings situation is really tough. Seattle definitely deserves a team, but Sac deserves to keep the Kings. It'd be a shame if the Maloofs screwed them.

I hate this Pistons team. It's painful to watch, even when they have a lead.

Sullinger is the exception from another pathetic Celtic effort.

Jason Maxiell starts over him. He hasn't taken over the spot because Lawrence Frank.
But the Pick and Roll with Andre and Bynum has been beastly lately. Drummond needs to start.
