CJ watson wants to pick up his option to be our first guard off the bench. he loves brooklyn and Nets chance to win. he actually took a lesser deal to sign here. likes backing up D-Will. I read this all on twitter.
i think.
I'm also drunk.
but this all is true and makes sense. CJ is very happy here.

Based on the trades and draft and what the depth charts say, I like what the Celtics, Mavericks, and Jazz did.
But some questions:
Why is Durant at PF for the Thunder?
The Hornets are basically the Clippers B-Team?
What is the Hawks logic by bringing in Pau Gasol, when is the exact opposite style of play than almost the rest of the Hawks lineup?
All in all, its been a fun read to see peoples opinions on players and all. Seems like it was fun!

Turned in my options to Fenikz via PM but have one more.
Mavericks will exercise their team option on Vince Carter.
Seeing that we are already over the cap and looking to use our MLE else where, keeping Vince will give us another vet to go along with the young core that we've acquired.

The Warriors will pick up Jeremy Tyler's option? Yes, that is what we will do.

Nuggets don't extend QO to Julyan Stone.
Bulls extend QO to Timofey Mozgov.

If you need an athlete, Pacers need a shooter. Get at me about Gerald Green.

If we're doing FA, don't we need to figure out the total salaries for each team and determine how much they have to spend? Or if they are over, then being limited to the MLE.. etc

thats your job, im not doing every team, its not that hard
use contract numbers from the 2012 draft for rookies for the 2013 class just to make it simple, cap number will also be the same $58.044MM
also all amnesty waiver claimed players may now be traded, so Luis Scola is now on the block
ex: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...TE2a lE#gid=0

I did mine and it's on my depth chart. I just didn't see anyone elses and I didn't see where you cared to know it.
What did you just do to Scola? Amnesty him?

no he is allowed to be traded now, players who were claimed off of the amnesty waiver wire last year were not allowed to be traded until june or july of the next year
and as for everyone else there just isn't much activity in this thus me making 60% of the picks in the 2nd

Yeah was only doubting the contract signed before date. Really don't want that guy anywhere near my team.
Looking forward to add the last pieces to my team. Very young with Ben Gordon and Brendan Haywood for some experience.

Yeah always a shame with things like this. I can understand that you aren't always there for your pick but getting a Big board or anything in isn't that hard.

What do 2nd round picks get? 473,604?
Also, changed my mind on Mozgov. Bulls won't extend QO to him.
