Well on a bright note, atleast Harden is shooting above 25 percent for the first time in five games. Also a more likely chance that McFail gets fired after the season.

I honestly believe anyone on this board can score 40 points if they had steve nash guarding him.

Thats why I never liked Nash as much as most on here. He's an incredible offensive player, but what he gives you offensively is negated by his atrocious defense on many occasions.

It's almost like the tradeoff isn't worth it. Even in his prime, for all his ability on offense his defense was just too awful to overcome. Especially in the playoffs when you go against top competition.

it's almost laughable that at one time on here we use to discuss if Steve Nash was better than Magic Johnson.

Same ****, different day. He's said stuff like this in the past but when it comes down to a few days before a reported date, he chickens out and complains it isnt safe. He doesnt care about being an NBA player. He has already proven that multiple times. Its a shame to because he has some talent to work with and could be an exciting player to watch.

This Lakers season is the gift that keeps on giving, how good is the article on ESPN where Kobe questioned Dwight and he just bitched out and sulked in the corner because he wasn't man enough to speak up.

In hindsight it's really not that surprising this Lakers team isn't working. You've got Nash who has never tried on defense in his life, Kobe who rarely tries on defense but is elite when he does, Howard who just wants to have fun, Kobe who doesn't believe in fun, Gasol who doesn't really like playing defense either.

Somehow the Lakers have put together a team where Ron Artest might be the most "stable" and consistent member and Antwan Jamison isn't even close to the worst defender. Two things that 5 years ago just seemed like an absurd concept!

Nash tries on defense, he just doesn't have the tools to get it done. Basically everything Rubio does on defense, Nash doesn't know how to do.
